TBH I also think some of it is deflection blaming.

It was poor refereeing why they lost. Not they were outplayed. Or it was the seventh defeat in 10 games. Just nasty VAR

Of course, most sensible people will see through it

So Robertson had his hands on Donnarumma after all before ducking

You should forward this to PGMOL - they can show it to the murderers as they've obviously chosen to ignore it!

This is gonna be like that supposed Rodri handball v Everton years ago. When actually it was offside. It was never properly corrected and is still brought up in the media now

Liverpool have had the most added time on when they're drawing or losing.

Liverpool are the most self-entitled set of cunts. Up there with Franco's boys from Madrid. Fuck em, if they think that will gloss over getting turned over, leave them to it

Watched an overhead clip of the play out of defence and through to ultimately Haaland heading it in. No Liverpool player got near it, Practically the whole team was involved, superb

The clip the club put out had our players heads on left as screen, every single player was involved in that.

I'm struggling to understand the outrage, but then again I'm coming to the conclusion that the human race in general is just fucking stupid.

Regarding the disallowed goal, Webb / PGMOL has subsequently clarifed that VAR correctly could not intervene as the player was stood in an offside position, and the referee made a subjective decision as to whether the player was / was not offside based on the inability to know whether Donarumma's decision was changed by the position of the player. As there was no clear and obvious error, VAR cannot intervene - should be case closed?

I could have lived with it being given offside, just as i could have lived with us not getting the penalty we were awarded. These are fine margins which have always been 50/50 contentious decisions, and will always continue to be, just as was the case with Bernardo being in the offside position. On reflection, the referee will almost certainly respect that his 2 decisions on 2 occasions being different in a very similar situation give rise to allegations of inconsistency, but that's never going to go away in the heat of the moment.

I think the problem we see here is simply the general stupidity of society anddd inability to see any non-partisan perspective, and thus jump to an astonishing range of conspiracy theories - the number of comments I've seen on socials mentioning Saudi is incredible.
