Antisemitism in Football

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Antisemitism in Football

Postby Mase » Thu Oct 16, 2025 6:40 pm

Fans of Maccabi Tel Aviv will not be allowed to attend the Europa League match at Aston Villa on 6 November owing to safety concerns.

West Midlands police said they had classified the fixture as “high risk”.

What the actual fuck is going on here?!

Why are the police dictating who can and can't go to a game, and not the clubs or Uefa?

Will Spurs fans be banned from every away ground?

birmingham is twinned with palestine

The demographics of Aston Ward include:
Population: Approximately 24,439, making it the 8th most populous ward in Birmingham.

Ethnic Composition: About 44% of the population is born outside the UK, with the largest ethnic group being Asian (55%), primarily from the Pakistani community.
Gender Distribution: 50.4% of the population is female and 49.6% is male.
Education: A significant portion of residents (16.43%) own their homes, while 83.57% rent.
Religion: The most prominent religion is Islam, with 54% of residents identifying as Muslim, above the city average.
For more detailed statistics, you can refer to the Birmingham City Council's factsheet.

Can we do the same with the scousers for Remembrance Sunday? Or liking Mase's idea, ban both spuds and scousers from all away games.

The problem with this matter now is the cat is out of the bag. What I mean is, if the ban was lifted, every far left terrorist supporting whack job will be dragging their knuckles to the game with there black & white scarves & Palestine flags probably given a police escort. The fucking state of what was a decent country ruined by fucking clueless politicians of all shades of fucking shit.

I don’t usually get involved with this kind of debate but this one touched a nerve, so sorry bout the rant.

I think there's an element of police following the line of least resistance (as it seemed). If we are going to have to put in some effort, cancel it!

This is it. You can guarantee that if it's overturned and fans are allowed, there'll be some protest or set up so that it kicks off, then the left can say "told you so"

Doesn't matter what is done. A large proportion of our multi cultural society hate Jews and want them eradicated. A signicant proportion of our left wing socialist elite feel the same.
Not one fucking murmur of protest against Hamas executing 50 odd of their own people

Good to see some fans commenting on the Aston Villa council banning visiting fans—credit to those stepping up. The usual fuckign suspects too scared to join the thread, likely fearing backlash from our two-tier, anti-free-speech policing. Time to grow a spine ffs !!! hiding under the duvet won’t change a thing. Speak out smartly - silence is the coward’s choice.

I’m sick and tired of minorities dictating what we can and cannot do - it’s fuckign disgusting.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

fuck all chance of that
the muslim vote is too precious for them - honestly, this country is fucked. that religion has no place at the table in a western democracy. let them spout their prehistoric noncense in their mosques but stay away from decisions that affect 90% of the rest of the country. the sikhs and hindus for example get on with business quietly and respectfully, these cunts are trying to change the way of life over here. it’s a fucking disgrace
