Wirtz could be the next KDB. Comes to England with a huge rep, fails, gets sold back to Germany, City pick him up a year later and he gives us 6 league titles.

If this comes true, I will be appalled I wasted my gift on this and not on next week's lottery.

Cab Driver charges Rag £35 for 5 mile trip and then loses his licence. Nobody we know I hope. Seems a bit unfair. The rag would happily have paid £130 for a shirt or £175 for 90 minutes of humiliation. £35 seems chump change.

Its certainly very strange how players leave the swamp and then find form.

Normally world beaters when they buy them, turn to shite when they're there, then become world beaters when they move on.

That'd tell any normal club that wasn't totally up their own arse what the problem is.

Anyone watching Roma vs Lille? Lille are 0-1 up in the 80th something minute and Roma got a penalty. The keeper saved, but got off his line too soon, so the penalty had to retaken. The same player took it again in the same corner, and once again the keeper saved, but moved from the line too soon. Retake again, but with a new penalty taker and new corner. Result: another save and still 0-1 for Lille!!!
