We played really well IMO - very happy with that performance.

Savhino should have been sold to spurs - we fucked up keeping him as he adds ZERO imo.

Last train to Stoke (goes to Macc, Cheadle, Prestbury, Congleton) makes it a necessary evil for me.
I usually stay as late as possible then run like fuck to Picadilly Station.

Often chat with other running fans who re getting lost train to places such as Huddersfield.

Who do we blame? Northen Rail? Our dipper mayor?

Having said that, there aren't thousands of us getting an early last train.

The difference from last game in Rodri is very promising. He’s starting to pur, please stay fit.

Foden is on fire as is Haaland and Doku. That’s our main attacking trio right now and I’m pleased for all 3 being back at their best. Need Cherki and Marmoush back to give them rests as right now there’s no goals on our bench.

Back 4 and GK not tested much but look up to it. We’re keeping the ball better, feel safer on counters and getting our groove. I’m not gonna get ahead of myself but some good moments.
Tracking back is overrated.

Phil Foden in POTY form at the moment. How we play him and Cherki in the same lineup though...1st world problems.

You don’t build a back four on fantasy fitness football lineups you build it on players who can actually fucking stand upright for more than three games in a row !!! Stones is the biggest softest cunt we’ve ever had at City. Every time he sneezes he’s out for two months.

Selling him in the summer was a no-brainer IMO ( and Pep certainly entertained the idea ) , but instead we’ve got the physio room booked out just for him !!. Same clown show as keeping Savinho around when it made zero sense.

Pep’s only named the same winning XI twice since January — first Leicester/West Ham, and now United/Napoli. Shows how rare it actually is. He should stick with this formula until injuries or suspensions force a change… but I won’t hold my breath, because he’s got form for binning off in-form players for some bizarre fucking reason.

Thought we played better than Sunday, kept the ball better and did not give it away too often. We have improved over the last two games which is good to see.

Thought Rodri’s passing was much better yesterday. Seems to be getting better last couple of games

I personally thought the criticism of Rodri on Sunday was ridiculous. He's been out for a year, his cover play was almost up to usual, his passing wasn't great but that will come. He wasn't the best player in the world for a piece of magic, it was for outstanding performances every game. He will come back and is already looking like his best isn't too far away.

Maybe I am being overly critical because my hopes for him are so high but reijnders needs to work on his passing success rate, very sloppy last night and against the rags giving the ball away - with our high press that’s going to lead to disaster before long

The reason I won't do European games, if I did I'd be running to Piccadilly ten minutes before the end.

I use Transport for Wales, but it's just the same. Half an hour later would make all the difference.
