I hope we are not that daft to agree to sell Ortega to the rags.

I’ll never understand the hate directed at him. He’s a professional who showed up every time we needed him, cost us next to nothing, never complained, and delivered whenever called upon, within his role. He was always meant to be a backup keeper, and he did that job with quiet consistency, including, whether people like it or not, making key saves at Spurs that helped us win the title.

I’ll always be grateful for that. And if he ends up at the Rags, I’ll be gutted, just like I would be for Ederson, or any other player who's worn our shirt with commitment. That includes Nunes. Loyalty runs both ways.

It's not hate PP

It's simply that he isn't good enough for a team who is gunning for titles.

As with any player who has played for us and reaches a point where they move on for whatever reason; not good enough, injury prone, retires, new challenge, wants to play more, homesick, etc, then we thank them for what they have done and wish them well

Because he cost us the FA Cup final against the rags

I agree, he needs to go, no doubt about it. I’d let go of at least 8–9 players myself. But calling him shite is way over the top. He delivered exactly what he was brought in to do, maybe even a bit more. He did his job, quietly and professionally. What I absolutely wouldn’t do is sell him to the Rags or to the Scousers. Not in a million years.

Same goes for Gundo, to be honest. He got crucified last year, but he was the only one brave enough to call out the flaws in our tactics. Now everyone’s in meltdown when he starts a game, but let’s not forget, before his move to Barcelona, he was top 3 on the team sheet without question.

I’m all for shipping players out or reducing minutes for those not performing. But realistically, that won’t happen. Still, the very least we can do is not hand over our players to the two clubs that would love nothing more than to see us extinct. Send them every club you want, but not those two red cunts.

I think the poor match preparation did that. Giving players time to to get pissed, not motivate them for a cup final versus the rags. If something cost us the FA Cup final against the rags, that is Pep.

I'll never understand the hate directed at Ederson who has been brilliant for us.
Ortega might have played every time we needed him- that's doing his job. He certainly hasn't stepped up. He made the 1 save against Son granted that we'll always be grateful for but he's made so many howlers, doesn't command his area in the slightest and i'd cringe every time a cross came in.
I'd love him to go to the rags, unfortunately the dippers wouldn't be that stupid.

You would always be grateful, but would sell him to them.
The rest is classic whataboutism. No one's bringing up Eddie, because simply this is not about him.
For me, it's strictly about selling to them. That's a hard no. After everything with the 115 charges, I wouldn’t even give them Frank Sinclair. But that's me, there are limits I have regarding clubs that want to harm something I love.
Each with his own, I guess.

If the press reports are that Isak is training at Socidad

Then he’s joining Liverpool. We should be pressing for Livramento.

Agree with this but the barcodes won't want to lose him so late in the day. Fuck all use in having the money in the bank if you cannot get a replacement in. Said it last time we discussed, pay the fee, make them make a decision, him, the two young cbs, Trafford thats the backbone for 10years

Yep spot on. We have watched the scousers bully Southampton. City are different gravy and the geordies I think are supportive of us, but it footy, if he wants to join us, amp it up Hugo. The scousers would not bat an eyelid.
