Yeah GK & RB got to be priority, Trafford a good GK not sure about Ederson, but Ortega should go.

This would work for me. Not sure Trafford would come back as no.2 though even if it was only for a season

By January we could have a change of the roles. It’s a very odd one with Ederson 31. He’s young for a keeper. Ortega iwas a good backup. Trafford 6’4 English ticks a lot of boxes. However Eddies stats I saw are no where as bad as some would have us believe. We need a right back and a durable centre half or 2.

He's played in the best team mate, makes it easier. Calamity prone more and more. You can be brilliant for 3 games then pass the ball to the oppo striker on the 4th and lose. Good stats though!

He's been part of the best team for a reason.
He conceded 26 in 26 league games last season with no Rodri and our poor defence.
Allisson with the worlds best Centre Half in front of him conceded 29 in 28 games.

^^^^^

Many of the games lost last season and games lost previous seasons have been because teams were given the ball and counter attacked very, very quickly. How many times have we seen teams often one on one with Ed ?

Enough i suspect. Difficult for any goalie.

Ed is ok , i hope we keep him ,he is still better than most. Good for a penalty should games go to penalties as well

I am more concerned about Diaz's form falling away.

Why are we desperate to ship Jack, but keep Stones?

We most probably want to fuck him off but there's no interest

We need centre backs x2 they are all made of glass. I have loved Johnny Stones, if Jacks time is up, how is Johnnies not. All of our stars like Diaz need competition, with Ake Stones, it’s not going to happen. The Palace captain Guelle would add to the group.

And agree grealish isn't top of list to go. Imo:

1. Walker gone
2. Kalvin - here, hard to shift
3. Kev - gone
4. Gundo- please go
5. Akanji - please go
6. Bern - wants to stay and is now captain. Stays.
7. Mcattee
8. Jack
9. Keepers- go if unsettled
10. Kova - stay

Unfortunately, Gundo contract extension kicked in April, so we're stuck with him for another season.

That said, in games this season just gone, when we had our tails up, gundo was right there at the heart of it, unlike Bernardo who seems to have been the main protagonist in the sideways ... to me.... to you...

But galatasaray are sniffing, we can still sell (give away). Just think gundos legs have fully gone whereas bern has a bit more left in them.

We are in the last 12 months of Pep. That’s got to be in the club’s thoughts. And the players.

Didn't he extend until 2027?
If not, we will have another staying/going saga.

He won't extend anymore and he will leave in 2027. But of course some wish and hope he will be gone before that.

Of course, my thoughts are Viana will be in full control and that will conclude the Spanish project, we know players agents will be asking who next. And if this season is anything like last 26/27 will be without Pep IMHO.

Do you think they may have agreed for him to leave at the end of 26/7 but be contracted for another year just to avoid the problems it officially being his last year would bring?

Yes he will be part of the City Group family. He may well be part of the team to replace him. Khaldoon will not want a messy end, as you are alluding too.

Real Madrid sniffing round Rodri. Rumours of an offer of cash plus Rodrygo and Camavinga.
