Ortega is what he is. Sometimes good, sometimes lacking. But Ederson, for me, has gone slowly downhill. More interceptions from his goal kicks, more charging recklessly about. I never really forgave him for that debacle a couple of seasons back at Dipperland, when we drew when we should have won.

I wouldn't be sorry to see him move on

This all day, for me he has been a fuck up waiting to happen, also to many horrible passes to defenders making them look bad when inevitably the opposition score. Not the best shop stopper either

I think cancelo was to blame for that match .

I hope my gut felling is wrong. I feel we are over complicating our situation. From keeper to not addressing the centre half issue.we need a right back.
Players like Jack, Gundo , Ederson , Akanji staying or going. This rumour of Jack training separately is a new one for us. It has a look of needing this over sized squad being nailed down to this is it.

I really wonder what he actually did so bad that he deserves this. He was pivotal in our treble, why not sit with him and talk to him using his language? Ignite the fire in him? Motivate him?

You’d think Vincent would help us out taking some of our overpaid unneeded but no big offer for Luis Diaz

I was referring to the briefings that Jack will return to training but will have his own program as he prepares to leave the club. I do understand if it’s based on our new seasons shape and patterns of play. But we all know them sideways backwards. It seems Jack has burnt his bridges so sell him and avoid the drama.

Scouse paid 90 mil for Ekitike from Frankfurt.

Or how the media will present it: A bargain for the future.

Next week we are in August and it seems we are still fucking around with the transfers, dragging shit around. The GK situation is up in the air, the right back went quiet.
Do the business as fast as possible and help players settle in or we will get another Khusanov situation with a player playing after he landed and not performing.

After doing good business very quickly before the club world cup, seems everyone has taken a holiday, or else were back to haggling again.

Do a deal for Trafford with Ortega going the other way.. keep Ederson, James T takes over. Get a right back. If Gundo is going yes MGW. That leaves the future of Kova as a starter or squad player until January.

Yeah GK & RB got to be priority, Trafford a good GK not sure about Ederson, but Ortega should go.

This would work for me. Not sure Trafford would come back as no.2 though even if it was only for a season

By January we could have a change of the roles. It’s a very odd one with Ederson 31. He’s young for a keeper. Ortega iwas a good backup. Trafford 6’4 English ticks a lot of boxes. However Eddies stats I saw are no where as bad as some would have us believe. We need a right back and a durable centre half or 2.
