I don't trust him and I don't distrust him.

He's never been in this position in his managerial career where he's had to get rid of dead wood and not rely on them. He really needs to not be playing Gundo, Bern etc instead of players that need the experience and are better NOW. He's super loyal to some of these and he needs to stop it - hate the guy but Fergie knew when to cut ties.

Not keep playing his mates rather than these players we've paid millions for, is the way I took it.

Also known as doing what's best for the club.

Said yes, would have voted unsure if it was an option

Based on his CWC management - it’s a no from me.
Too much evidence he prefers playing his mates over better talent.

He’s got the first 5 games to impress.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

What happens after 5 games? Could you change your mind?

Sure I could , but do you think Pep’s counting down the days to bench Gundo and the rest of his untouchables for actual in-form players? You think he’ll tear up last season’s tactical masterpiece of sideways passes and 80% possession with no end product?

Really hope he does but I just do not think he will.

I’ll answer my own question: yes, I want him to go.

It feels like the end of a relationship. The love is still there, but I’m tired. Tired of the cycles, the overthinking, the constant need to prove a point or reinvent the wheel. I think it’s all run its course, and I find myself wanting something new.
It’s not about being ungrateful, far from it. He gave us so much. But I also believe his own agenda may have cost us even more. And now, I’m ready to move on, even if it means we won’t dominate the league the way we once did.

No I don't think he will but we have seen glimpses at the CWC. Just enough to give me hope.

I'll stick my neck on the block and say we're going to dominate this season.

Think we'll go close to winning the lot again.

Feel free to take the piss out of me completely come next May when we finish 12th

I trust him to fix it.

The CWC showed he was on to something then he sadly reverted back. It was a knock out and it cost us and I really think he and the new coaches saw that.

In the league if that happens and we lose one game it’s not life or death. I think we’ll be far more competitive this year and it’s going to be a nervy title race. If we are not right there in the league this year my mind will change. After his first season with us he got new blood and we were sensational. I hope he repeats that.
Tracking back is overrated.

There's enough signs the board have said 'enough'......the binning of De Bruyne is a major statement from the club that nobody hangs around on reputation, a lot of money has been spent on some decent looking talent - though the question is whether they will be able to get Guardiola's demands quickly enough to make an impact this year.

The suggestion that there's no sentiment involved could be contradicted by the fact Gundo is still here - I wonder if he's perceived to be a much more nurturing older head, but I still think we'll see him leave this window - of which remember there's still over 6 weeks left.

New coaches, fresh ideas, fresh drills in training etc, all help to switch things up, and I'm confident that in a month's time we'll see some things in how we set out/play different to the turgid, boring shit of the last couple of years.

I struggle to accept that the ownership of the club will allow another season like the one we just had. I think we'll set off like a house on fire.....how long it lasts is the big question.
