More proof -

Bernardo, "It's a really, really bad season for us,” he said. “Something has to change next year. It's for the big bosses to decide. I have my opinion but definitely something needs to change when you don't perform at this level.”

The "big bosses"....

Stupid thinks he’s exaggerating

Well having heard all of the interview with Bernie ,it seems that he is at least looking to see his contract out by staying next season.

Something stinks - the team is fractured and the manager has been key to those fractures - he’s lost the dressing room and you lose the dressing room when the players start scratching their heads at pep’s anal decisions in key games.

He’s picked players who should be nowhere near the first team and he’s playing players in positions that they just cannot excel in when there was no need to play them there in the first place.

There is zero excuse for his bad decisions - zero excuse .
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

The interview with Doku said it all he said he would try and take a defender on everytime but now he’s not allowed to and has to think about possession. Grealish said something similar in an on pitch interview after we’d just won the league.

Ayup chaps, not been on for a while…..however I have always read the general feel of the fans thoughts….jesus fucking Christ this season has been so fucking painful and obvious how to play against us……..I am not the genius to put this right but there is one who is paid 25 fucking MILLION to make sure he does his job……for flying fuck sake…25 bastardin MILLION quid per fucking year…..

How can it be so fucking obvious where the fucking buck lies…..we play echevarri in his fucking first goddamn minutes for the club in a competition ge has no infinity for over and above players that grew up like me knowing what the FA cup was all about……I had exactly the same feeling yesterday I had for the final against Wigan…….oh fuck me it’s painful….in my mind the moment lazy twat gave the ball to Omar I knew there is one thing rotten to the absolute core in our club…..we love him and hate him in equal measure…that man is pep….thank you so much pep for everything I have seen as a blue….problem is the game adapts…..biggest problem is pep doesn’t….what can I say…thanks pep…it has truly been a blast but you’ve rested on your laurels and the workd has past you by….

A lot of things I agree with. For me after the Fulham game. It needs addressing.
Win v Bournemouth first. My Friday night in London we laughed and argued like fuck over the season. 2 games to go and our DNA is do it the hard way. Some of my pals are now it’s time to start the process. That’s a change in mindset I did not expect. It’s City in 2025 not the bad old days of WTAF are we doing. CL does not hide a drop off.

I think we will finish top 4 or 5 and qualify, however we still have a lot of issues going on. The players we have are far better than 6th place. Huge game for Peps future tomorrow, he has had a terrible season some of his decision making has been awful, there is no denying that. If we fail to qualify for the champions league that will seriously eat into the credit he has built up and if we have a bad start to 25/26 he will be gone before well before the end of this year, I just cant see two seasons of absolute shit being accepted.
We need serious business in the summer, and we need Pep to get his head together. Then next season could be very different.

I hope Pep does the honourable thing, as I'm losing confidence in his ability to make it work next season.

But at the moment the key issue in the summer would be 'who' ?

Back in the bad old days, there was always a big list of people we could have tempted in with a decent salary and transfer pot, but the number of candidates is very small these days, and most of the ones we'd be interested in have committed to next year.

I think he's just going to have to make next year work.......while he will have a lot of credit in the bank with the owners, if he stays I'm fairly sure he won't be given the option of being stubborn, he will be told its his job to sort this shit out.

I think the city job is one of the most desirable in the world. Many would give anything to have the stability here.

I agree - but if there's a shortlist of say 3 or 4 managers city would approach, and those 3 or 4 aren't available, what then?

The options end up being paying a high amount of compensation for a manager we didn't particularly want, who in any case would only be a stopgap until the desired target is available. Bit like Pellegrini.

On which note, I'd have him back in a hearbeat.

Goes hand in hand with Kev saying he just wants to play for a team that plays "good football".

Just seen Pep's comment about why Lewis and McAtee weren't even on the bench.

The guys lost the fuckin plot. Please do the right thing now.

Looking around this place. City are a spec in AD interests.
It’s insane the wealth our owners have. Small spuds. Money means 0 here. 500 million to use a word….

He felt like he owes certain players to give them a chance.

In what world is Akanji owed anything? The Argie kid on the bench over two players that have contributed key goals in games during the FA Cup run.

It's bizarre

Much as though Pep has made some really odd decisions this season, we seriously need a decent assistant manager to ease the load, offer different insights, coach players and be a sounding board. The present guy I don’t think fits the bill
