If Kalvin Philips came back early, shed a shit load of weight and got really fit, could he make a surprise return to form and be the player we thought we'd bought? Or are we better selling him . At present ONLY Southgate seems to rate him

Not happy with this at all.
Transfer Window isn’t open yet mate. Plus every club is quiet at the moment. Top dogs on holiday and the euros.
Opened on the 14th June but you're right- no-ones doing anything whilst the Euros and Copa America is on.
Ah yeah course, because Bruno G’s buy out was active last week

Nope. It’s nothing to do with his weight or fitness. He’s just not good enough at football for us.

My problem is that there aren't even proper rumours. Just this is that all over the place.

There are rarely "proper" rumours.
Just crap that is peddled to garner clicks. Was actually thinking only the other day how few articles there are about players we are after. I take it to not be a bad thing

Seems we are linked with Olmo.
Good decision that, hopefully it will happen.

Never really did anything of note anytime i have seen him. The time to buy him for us would have been before he went to Germany.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Newcastle engaged in desperate talks to avoid PSR breach. Very little time left. City said no to triggering Bruno’s 100 million release clause. They’ve been talking with Liverpool over Gordon and Chelsea over Isak. Obviously they don’t want to sell either.

The barcoes along wirh everton villa leicester will be trying to shift players over the next few hours. You can bet the PL will be all over this as they need to fund their defence against us

Liverpool turn down the chance to sign Gordon. Newcastle sound fucked. £65m for Bruno G, take it or leave it.

I wouldn't even go as high as that
£45/50m and an academy kid or two

Newcastle selling a kid, Yankuba Minteh, for £33m to Brighton. Never heard of him until this summer when he was linked with Everton.

Are one of Newcastle's sponsors now sponsoring Brighton for £30m for a one-off season shirt sleeve deal? What, with the academy dealings between Chelsea, Everton, Villa, etc...... And they say we were cooking the books!!

They haven't got Pep and the trophies he wins, though, have they? Brighton are not pushing red noses out of the trough.
I have no problem at all with clubs working together to get around these shitty-arsed, protectionist rules. If it fucks the cartel up, it is fine by me.
It is long past time to throw these contrived rules out in their entirety, to go back to football being just that and not international pro-celebrity accounting.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

Newcastle selling Elliott Anderson to Forest. Don’t know whether that solves their PSR issue in full.

The Anderson deal is a good example of Clubs being incentivised to sell home grown players. It’s pure profit on the books. Fans dont see it the same way of course. Anderson’s a geordie through and through.

A really good prospect as well. I watched him at Bristol Rovers the other year and thought he’d be one to watch.
