All for offering Ortega an improved extended contract. He’ll get a PL medal and hopefully an FA Cup winners medal soon. Still he’ll have an awful lot of attractive offers as a number one elsewhere. Realistically he may choose to accept one of them. Not much we can do about that.

I think it's all about giving him more game time.
I think we should.

I think we have two of the top 10 gk in the world at the moment.

plucked out of nowhere.... he was playing 2nd division football until 19/20. also got relegated the season he joined us. now he's got every medal he could possibly want with, hopefully, more to come. plays a big part in our team. he'd be a fool to turn down an improved deal.

Additionally I am sure he said fairly recently how settled his family are here, his missus wasn't keen but has been made very welcome by the club and families of other players have helped massively.

He could always pie his Mrs off and find a better one. Gundo probably wishes he did that.

I remember his official interview with us. His smirk on his face when he said: I am the only gk Haaland didn't score in the league.

I think he is working his ass. I know Pepito knows how to exaggerate things, but 1 vs 1 he really is a monster.

Do everything to keep him. Even if he plays third of the season in the league

He doesn't deserve to be playing second fiddle to any keeper and I'm not saying Ederson should make way but I cannot see him wanting to stay to sit on the bench most of the season.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

Agree but try. If there's any club in the world he'd accept a reduced role it should be us.

Side note any IHT / will specialists about ?

Wait until October to do a will if you can. They’re free for the month of October I believe

I used farewill.com through the British heart foundation site which allowed me a free will
very very easy and I wanted to leave some to heart research anyway so win win
https://www.bhf.org.uk/how-you-can-help/leave-a-gift-in-your-will?gad_source=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMInPL075CShgMVyohQBh1YYw3EEAAYASAAEgK5sfD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
most of the charities will have a link to free wills if you want to make a donation
hope that helps
I wish there was a way to know you are in the good old days....before you've actually left them...

I would have been shocked if he were fit to play on Sunday. He wouldn’t have started in the Cup Final anyway.

But regardless of whether he would have started the match I’d feel a lot more confident with him on the bench rather than Carson. Ortega gets fouled early doors by a reckless elbow at a corner and it’s a different game. And the rags are cunts enough to have this as a tactic.
