PL Games May 3/4/5/6

Postby Harry Dowd scored » Fri May 03, 2024 12:53 pm

Started a new thread for tonight’s game. Think Everton are safe, but Luton are not so there is definitely jeopardy in the game.
The early Saturday game is the important one, hoping Bournemouth can do something, they have been doing okay lately, so come on Cherries. Through very gritted teeth, is I have to say, a dipper win might not be a bad outcome against the dodgers, maybe a draw would do fine.

Friday

Luton v Everton Sly 20.00

Saturday

Arsenal v Bournemouth TNT 12.30

Brentford v Fulham 15.00

Vinny’s inbreds v Barcodes 15.00

T’Blades v Forest 15.00

Treble winners v Wolves Sly 17.30

Sunday

Brighton v Villa Sly 14.00

Chelsea v Hammers 14.00

Horrible dippers v Top four dodgers Sly 16.30

Monday

Palace v Ten Bob rags Sly 20.00

Sadly, I think we'll be 4 points behind before we kick off. Just need to concentrate on doing our own job, any outside help will just be a bonus.

No chance of them dropping points today. The scum at the swamp is their only test. We have to win ours. It’s that simple.

Merson and Mike Dean on Soccer Saturday don’t think it’s a penalty. Which tells you everything

We would never get that penalty. Shitbaggery of the highest order from Havertz, deliberately leaves his leg in and kicks the keeper to go down. VAR should have been all over that but working to orders as per usual. I really do hate Arsenal now, White, Arteta, Havertz, Saka, Rice it's hard to find anyone who you wouldn't mind at City. Odegaard maybe.

The TNT co-commentator, Lucy someone, says " Some players in the Premier League are brilliant at doing that, leaving your foot hanging so it looks like you've been fouled". Call it what it is Mrs, it's blatant fucking cheating, a deliberate attempt to deceive the referee which carries a penalty of a yellow card. Compare this behaviour to how many of our players over the years have been fouled constantly yet still stay up, Silva, Aguero, Foden, de Bruyne all stay on their feet when they can. Sterling, Jesus, Nunes less so.

This has now become the norm. It is ultimately cheating and needs to be addressed. Should be clear as day on VAR and offenders should be carded
