Indeed, ref either bottled it, or more than likely was obeying orders.
I didn't see his 2nd yellow incident but the ref had a howler the full game I did see. He continually let Arsenal just grapple at the corners and let Gabriel off with kicking the ball away.
All about the product for the FA. Keep the title race as close as possible for as long as possible. And of course PGMOL do their bidding for a price.
Turns out I did see it. His blatant attempt to cheat the ref and win a penalty. Definite yellow. I forgot about it though. Can't pay attention when making dinner.

Sorry but 'win' a penalty is just wrong and shouldn't be used. Win games yes, lose games yes.
Being fouled in the box , is a penalty. According to the totally biased Stone report on the Beeb, Garnacho won two penalties ! Or did Everton in their clumsiness lose two penalties ?
Win a foul ?? They mean cheated to have a free kick awarded.
Sick of wokeness in reporting

I deliberately used the phrase "win a penalty" as it was exactly what Havertz attempted to do. Totally agree with the use of the phrase normalising players going down under contact and making it seem as if it's just part of the game. We need guys who can put a marker on these players during the game and let them know the difference between contact and a foul.

Barcodes level it up - Gordon is a Goner for the weekend though - looks like he failed the ACL test.

Sterling one on one to make it 3-1 so obviously it’s still 2-1.
