I didn't think it was a penalty but did think it would have been given.

I’m the same. Looks like Doku pulled his right leg away as soon as he realised the scouse ginger bollocks was there.

I'd feel aggrieved if we didn't get one like that

Where do you start with that joke referee today. Gave Arsenal everything he could. Never gave any yellow for foul play yet Arsenal were guilty of continuously fouling City players. Gabriel, Jesus, Odegard all should have had yellows for fouling at least once. The only yellows were for time wasting yet only 5 mins was added? SAKA claiming injury yet up and running when they regained possession. Numerous offsides allowed to play on and never pinged. Absolute disgrace

18 fouls I think and no cards for them. That must be a modern record

Taylor's performance today, especially with Jesus - was a bit baffling. I know it is Easter and let's face it, we can't crucify Jesus for kicking out at Bernie. However, this is the same ref that thought a slight touch by the said Jesus, on the shoulder of United's missing striker Martial, was worthy of a penalty.
Commentators were using the argument ,"wanting to keep the game flowing" , as if they had been informed beforehand.

A perfect example of inconsistency with match officials that the same referee differs in how he sees infringements depending on the game and teams involved

Correct me if i am wrong, but we made a break in which 3 if not 4 of our players were fouled and the cunt gave absolutely nothing?
Admittedly, i was on my 4th pint at that point (on empty stomach).
Surely the club has to call this cunt out,,, 'flow of the game' bullshit. gooners did everything to disrupt flow of the game beyond belief withe their time wasting and out and out thuggery.
Every gooner i see in the coming weeks will be told what a shower shit their team is. Utter cunts.
I had no ill feeling when Jesus left but by christ, what a cunt he's turned in to!

He made it all about himself yesterday, when he should be seen and not heard. His reluctance to card any clear fouls ( even body checking) was disturbing. His constant talking irritating. As for VAR, well, if pulling at Haarlands shirt constantly in the box denying him the chance to reach a cross isn't a foul, then we have no chance.

Cannot argue wirh this. One of his worst performances against us and let's have it right, there have been quite a few to choose from. Shockingly bad yesterday. Thought their keeper was back playing for Brentford

I've never forgiven him for not Red carding Sideshow Bob's Body check, taking Kun out against the Chavs.

3 players chopped down in as many seconds when we were breaking , no bookings and they were allowed to stand in front ogf the ball each time. Odegard verbally abusing the ref yet nothing . That was the moment i was up on my feet swearing at the TV and my wife tuts and says it's just a game.

It's so obvious. Sweet Jesus.
In one match day alone, you see the officials guvung everything to the away team and denying possibly 3 penos to us.
And then blatantly doing everything to help the away team in the Bournemouth fixture.
Fucking hell. Surely a completely independent body can be set up.
You can count the favours we've had this season on one hand.
You'd need to be from Burnley and then some to count the crazy decisions and general bias against us when it comes to our games.
It's mental.

Yep, it’s mental. But when the media turn the world against us, it allows them to do what they want.
