CL again at the Etihad. With a 3-1 lead from the away leg it would surely take something extremely extraordinary for us not to progress. With the dippers away on Sunday, which is regardless of what Pep says, is the most impressive fixture this month, I fully expect to see a number of changes tonight. And as long as we progress in the tie, the result tonight is of secondary importance IMObe shocked to see Stones, KDB, Haaland, Foden or Rodri anywhere near the team.
That said, I think we will win as our squad players are still better than they are
3-0 Alvarez, Bobb and Bernado

Agree with the sentiment but can see Pep starting strong. No Rodders AT ALL please, can see Erling starting to keep up the momentum. Happy to see one of KDB or Foden not get a game but if neither start; then Bernie will? Who the fuck knows with Pep

Could see a lot of empty seats for this one.
Rest some players and get through are the main aim. We will still need to be relatively strong tonight. Score first though and we can empty the bench.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

pep doesn't rest players and we're only going a goal down from making it a nervy affair so expecting him to go with a first xi team from kick off and then making changes when the tie is properly won.

There’s a case for Ortega playing. As things go he might well leave at the end of the season. The slightest concern about Stones and De Bruyne and they’ll be on the bench as well. Like to see Lewis and Bobb involved.

Resting quite a few for Sunday. I can see that even if I’m at the match.

Now is the time to shine Nunes. Let's see what you've got kid. IF we have to resort to the bench it won't do your future with us any good. Only downside for me is Rodders having to start

Personally I’m pleased that Lewis and Bobb are getting a game. Hopefully Kovacic will allow Rodri to go forward more often. Stones and KdB are not going to play match after match. Too risky.

More than happy with this side
It’s good enough to progress the tie

Which is a recipe for burnout both in the latter stages of this season and next. Also increases the risk of muscular fatigue and injuries
It’s no coincidence we usually end the season strongly with a winning run. This is because of rotation
