Haha sorry just had a look and can't find the ones I found last night where he said

" he wanted to leave. I said mahrez is going so you have a chance he. He said no, I want to go, so I let him leave"

Also sounded like he changed his mind about wanting to play where we played him maybe/ of style.

Heckingbottom sacked by Sheffield and Wilder reappointed.

Been a bad couple of days. Swansea and Sunderland both dispensing services with their respective managers

Time will tell of course whether it’s beneficial. I suspect not personally

Thought their form was more injury related? Still 7th despite their run, think it'll take a few more bad results before they consider off loading him?

The champions league took a lot out of them, particularly the way they went out. And they do have a lot of injuries. I am not saying he will get sacked now, but he must be worried as the Saudi owners might not be so understanding. Especially after last season, the owners probably expected more this season.
I like Howe he seems a decent bloke, but the odds have shortened I think.

Absolutely the CL was a baptism of fire and they were incredibly unlucky to get the group of death like they did. But they did well to win one and draw 2 in that group. Best chalk it down to experience and hopefully he can catch a break injury wise and concentrate back on the league. I don't think the saudis will be as brutal as the american hedgefund types.

Despite their investment, the clubs success has arguably pretty much been down to Howe.

I know in the modern day high stakes, nobody is truly safe, but i think he is OK for a while yet.

Saudi haven’t bought into Newcastle to finish 8th. Last season they overachieved and a couple of clubs underachieved meaning they got CL football this season. Probably a year or so earlier than anticipated. But they haven’t kicked on this season. You can argue they have been unlucky with injuries but sometimes when you don’t rotate as Howe didn’t last season, it can cause problems the season after as the players are knackered.

He is deffo safe until at least the summer and depending on where they finish in the PL and how they do in the FA cup will determine his fate. No European football at all will be a comedown from last year though and won’t like be received favourably

I don't understand the fascination with him. Failed superbly wherever he has been. Totally wrong appointment by Brum in the first instance - another yank masterclass in soccer ball mismanagement

I don't see the fascination with any of these ex footballers being given these jobs when they have not proved themselves in previous jobs .

Just goes to show that some clubs are ran by muppets .
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"
