Off side given

Commentary on my telly said there was no offside after a check. Then all Beglin said was "and foden's never getting a penalty for that"

He's also been asked to play in a position he's not used to at all. He's a midfielder and a right back at a stretch. He thrives on making triangles and playing tiki-taka. That's difficult when you got out of bounds on two sides and our own eleven yard box on the third.

Get our new boy on, Rico is playing himself into a loan tonight, looking well out of his depth.

Obvious one is Laporte with Ake to lb.

But that was the obvious start so.......

No, when he was put through over the top and he turned it inside. Defender was muscling him out but when slid and took foden's feet from under him. Offside given but supposedly after a var check he wasn't offside, but nothing was said about the tackle.

Final ball tonight has been poor. That’s three great breaks we’ve had and barely a decent effort from any of them
