Walker might well be replaced. Yes Lewis will probably play more but we’d lose Waljer’s pace. I think Bernardo would need to be too. I suppose Mahrez might not be if the powers that be decide Palmer and Foden is enough cover on the Right assuming Bernardo goes.

Apologies it was a spoof site. That sort of thing is really annoying.

And that price makes the £50M the rags want for Maguire laughable. He is going nowhere which is brilliant

Heard a rumour last week of a figure of £9M plus the obligatory add ons and sell on clause.
As you say Hants, wish him all the best

Athletic saying £10m rising to a potential £15m with buy back, sell on and bud matching rights.
All the best to him, I hope he smashes it

Transfermarkt only have him valued at €900k so that's good cash towards the greater cause.

Indeed
And I imagine there'll be a couple more to come as well, which will help offset Gvardiol

What about the £300m we got from doing the treble? Might that be going towards the regeneration around the ground? Or is someone else paying for that?

I might be wrong but stadium improvements don't count towards FFP do they? So the sheikh could theoretically throw his own cash at it and that 300m could go back into the club/team.
I realise life ain't that easy, but yeah, fairly certain the improvements won't affect the team budget and will have been costed a long time ago way before we ever imagined we could achieve a treble.

Probably why the Glaziers haven’t bothered with Old Toilet then.

I’ve just read Borges only has a year left on his contract. Who is in charge of contract negotiations at the club? Rice Lewis - only a year left. Walker - only a year left. Gundo should have been sorted season ago and he’d probably still be here now.
