But one that means if they want a player with a long contract they have to pay seriously top dollar which they rarely, if ever, do
All this nonsense about propaganda etc . It is Dortmunds Alvarez they have their eyes on .

Harwood bellis wins championship, has several seasons as a pro, captains england to under 21 euros and we have valued him at 15m.
Makes no sense.
Seems our strategy is to sell where possible with a buyback option as with Trafford, rather than a loan (sometimes without though as with Slicker I think.) Looks like Perrone and several others will be moved abroad to other clubs in the CFG by both means.nottsblue wrote:From the BBC
Fulham and West Ham are among a number of Premier League clubs interested in England's European Under-21 Championship-winning captain Taylor Harwood-Bellis.
The 21-year-old Manchester City defender led the Young Lions to their first European title in 39 years with victory over Spain in Saturday's final.
He also won the Championship while on loan at Burnley last season.
It is understood City value Harwood-Bellis at about £15m.
Harwood-Bellis, who is entering the final year of his contract at City, was name-checked by England manager Gareth Southgate during the senior international break last month.
His centre-back partner Levi Colwill was part of the England squad during the last international break and figures at the FA believe Harwood-Bellis is one of a number of the current U21 team able to progress to the senior squad.
This had better not be true. He needs to be give a new contract pronto. £15m would be an absolute bargain

Juventus supposedly keen on Laporte. Loan with option to buy. I should think City want a sale.

Not italians again,
At least put a mandatory buy.

As you know Pete I've always loved Laporte but quite happy for him to go if Gvardiol is coming in.
Laporte is 29, suffering a few injuries and obviously out of favour.
Gvardiol is 21 and looks like he's got the world at his feet.
Definite upgrade.

Sure, mate, but let's get some money.
The world is lacking defenders and our deals with Italians were always beyond shite.
