Looks like Edin Dzeko's off to Fenerbahce after his contract at Inter expired. I assume that'll be the final move of his career, unless his contract is 'cancelled by mutual consent' after a couple of months, like those of most players who head off out there.

Weird one. Think he’d be alright for a newly promoted team that launch the ball. He started the CL final so a bit weird he’s heading to Turkey.

I see Neville is calling for an embargo of transfers to Saudi clubs. I don't know how he thinks this would work - clubs have three choices: get transfer cash from a Saudi club for a player entering the final year(s) of their contract, let the player run down the contract and leave for free, or sell them to a third party for less money (who may, in turn, merely be acting as an intermediary for Saudi clubs). Surely with FFP rules in place as they are now, the first is the only sensible option?!

I’ve no idea whether Walker is trying to squeeze an extension out of Txiki or whether he is genuinely tempted by Bayern. Nor do I know whether we are genuinely keen on Rice or whether West Ham are leaking lies about our interest to panic Arsenal.
