Just seen the handball incident at the end, that is shocking that the ref never seen it and that VAR didn't advise him to look at it. We were toothless all game though and lacked pace in attack and movement of the ball.hiwever their goal is disallowed 9 times out of 10 for climbing on the defender. How many times are we the outlier in the statistics?

It never should have got to the stage where the handball mattered , Their goal was a foul he has both hands on Diaz shoulders pushing himself up ,
However the lack of subs was criminal considering the speed and talent we have on the bench , midfield was knackered we needed fresh legs / ideas
And imho I think we are wasting Haaland

Definitely a penalty, no doubt. But in the 2nd half up to that we were rubbish. That's not the officials.

Andy: Once again where is VAR. Haven't seen a more blatant handball! Two handed punch.

Nigel: Half-hearted appeals for handball? You’re having a laugh. Defender punched the ball with two hands! If that isn’t handball, I give up!

Definitely a piss-take with the none-VAR but not one that was borne of being dodgy, but one of the need to fulfil the advertisers contract.

Another reason why this game has gone WWE.

Thought we were superb in the first half and shite for parts of the second. However, after 4 games in 10 days, last 3 away from home, I’m expecting us to be a little brittle come the 2nd half. This is a very decent Leipzig side and to come away as we did, then got to be content.

Ps. We have 2 more games on the road in the next few days, that 2nd half may become the first.

There’ll have to be changes for the Bournemouth and Bristol City games. Some players looked tired second half. Fancy Rico and Laporte ( if fit) to start at the weekend. Foden and Kevin too. Maybe Alvarez instead of Haaland.

Wow! Do you need an arm around your shoulder?

Do we need the CL to vindicate our position or the stuff we have won along the way?

Personally, I can't stand it, we need it more than ever to ram it down the rags and vermins throats. It's an irritating stick they keep beating us with.

The most interesting part of the post match analysis was when they all acknowledged the double handball and then camel lips launched straight into
"More importantly than that..."

There is nothing more important than corrupt officiating in a game of football if it's there for everyone to see.

TBH, I'm much more inclined to believe the shot that matey took off his telly (which the powers that be have now had removed) than the BT sport revision.

I am starting to think the players are throwing Pep under the bus.

From the outside I would say they are angry on his constant tactical changes and his lack of ideas to change the game. However, they are on the pitch, not him, why don’t they “override” the program? I think because they also can’t do it. Remember the bizzare moment vs Leicester when Vinnie scored and all were shouting “don’t shoot”.

I don’t think he will walk after a season as shit as this one, he would want to go as champion of England and maybe Europe. So were does that leave us? A mass exodus in the summer?

I missed the game, but let me guess: dominant first half, instead of finish them we passed around, second half they made subs, scored at one of their only chances, we passed side to side again until the end of the game without having an actual chance?
