I like mccoist as a co commentator, wasnt his best night from a city fans point of view last night but i think he just calls it as he sees it and isnt arsed about an agenda. People just dont always agree on things.

Met him off the pitch a few times an absolute class act he is. One of the best guys in football in my experience.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just another jock on the cartel payroll now, from the off he was wanting Bernie booked after predicting Saka would give him trouble pre match. Nearly every City foul was given the red card analysis while Ake getting a leg breaker tackle off the wonderkid was completely ignored. As for their joke penalty - let's just say when he finally noticed and they provided the cartel script he did them proud. Broken hearted at the result along with "what does this result mean for Man Utd Ally?" Crimson Clive ....

Peter Drury is number 1. He’s absolutely brilliant, listen to him when we score -

Agree with Drury being no 1 in the proper commentator stakes.
But I rather think Outcast was saying name your top 5 cunts.

Drury number 1, then 2-4 Kolarov.
Special mention to Grealish.

Generally i like McCoist. Don't find him to be a bullshitter but last night he was willing Arsenal to beat us and that came over in some of his comments. He continually referred to Arsenal giving away goals yet didn't really see the softness of their penalty. Thought the ref did the best in a scrappy game at times but he was shocking when he booked Walker. Walker had been injured by a snidey tackle, he was then held on the touchline for ages during the restart and never waved back on. Could have just stopped play and given a free kick, booking was harsh

I like him as well, normally he's good on commentary and a good listen on Talksport but he was totally different last night. Going on about Bernardo being booked constantly, our players crowding the ref, definite pen for them, 2nd yellow for Ederson, etc, etc, etc.

I agree with most of what you say but disagree about Walker's booking. Entering the field of playing without being signalled to do so is a cautionable offence. The pass to Walker was stupid as he couldn't enter the field of play, Walker's decision to then enter the field of play and lash the ball away in frustration was even more stupid. If he had simple let the ball roll out of play Arsenal would have had a throw in rather than a free kick and he wouldn't be on a booking.

All correct re Walker but that is not the issue imo.
The issue is were both teams refereed to the same standard?
Play pretend and switch the teams.
Would Arsenal have ended up with 4 bookings and conceeded a penalty, would City have ended up with only two bookings and awarded a penalty?

Not a chance.

I wouldn't normally mind ,but it is so obvious.

Brentford and Villa goalies, fall to the floor each time they catch the ball , give it the Acting treatment. Should be penalised as time wasting.

It was stupid to pass to him and i agree Walker launching the ball away in anger was a sign of his frustration but the cause of the situation was the ref himself. Why was Walker not waved back on the pitch immediately the game restarted ? City were punished for being fouled?
