I have to laugh at the modern football fan.

True story regarding the MUEN from some years ago. (As told by the guy who wrote it.
The then newish sports' editor at the MUEN visited two preseason City games.
He noted that there was a Liverpool scout at both matches.
Saturday night while in bed, he dreamed up that there must be interest in Uwe Rosler.
Monday, the story was that Liverpool were going to buy Rosler and City were gonna lose him.
All dreamed up by a desperate journo, based on absolutely fuck all evidence.

And that my friends is exactly what is going on here. I think this story of 5 City players leaving is based on an ex Spurs player (Robinson) opining from his own daft thoughts.
The stupid bit is that it's even being discussed on here a possibility.

It's not just football fans is it - true of most things that the media peddle.
We all know that we have very few friends out there in the media and should bear this in mind when reading any of the shite that is written about us. Unfortunately, when we copy links and debate them it just adds credence to the articles and becomes 'fact'
I'd be interested to know how many journalists frequent this place on a regular basis - it's an easy life for them

Admittedly, I only skimmed the article but I don't see much wrong with it? Undoubtedly Pep will be looking to lay down a marker and I don't think Arteta will - although a loss for the Arse may harm them in the bigger picture so maybe Arteta will double bluff Pep and go balls out himself tonight?
Either way, looking forward to this one. Cannot usually get up for home games at daft o'clock on daft days but this could be a great game
