City agree with you Mase

I think the Premier League have hit the panic button and just charged us, probably hoping that the mud sticks (it certainly will with mongy fans off opposition team).

This could come back to haunt them and I hope the club are primed with shit they’ve got on The FA, the Premier League, PGMOL ready to threaten the release of it.

This is the end of the PL as a separate Entity in itself . I think , while it may keep it's name, the FA will be forced to take it over again.

Also, i can see the club going after individuals that are part of the PL admin team .

The Americans have a matchless talent for debasing and degrading everything they touch in the interest of profit - I wonder how Khaldoon & Ferrano et al feel with their US chums cheering on this latest cartel attack?

This suggests City can’t go to CAS on appeal. Some of the charges raised by the PL seem to relate to periods already considered by CAS.

I read it won’t be CAS, it’ll be another “independent” party that reviews it.

That’s not the point. The PL haven’t found us guilty and proposed a sanction. UEFA had. This body chaired by an Arsenal will decide the issues and there will apparently be no appeal. If we can’t go to CAS will this body with no fresh evidence be able to reverse the decisions by CAS? Some older charges have been made but many are recharging charges already dismissed by CAS. That’s how I read it.

Ah okay, I’m not sure then.

I initially thought they’d done it just to ruin our rep further and then give us a slap on the wrist with a fine, but it’s 100 accusations so I can’t see them just doing that and calling it a day. But at the same time we generate millions upon millions for the Premier League - so why would they want to lose that. It all makes no sense.

As has been said, timing is interesting one last attempt by the yank led PL before they get taken back in hand by the FA?

Good, strong statement by City that.

We have recourse to the British courts should the unthinkable happen. Every single person and entity in the nation has the right to that and no fucking pompous, shitty-arsed rule book can take that away.

I suspect it won't be necessary, this being clearly a final, desperate throw of the dice by the cheating septic bastards and their cringing lackeys.

Even more than usual, I wish I could go to the match on Sunday. It is going to be an excellent day.

This Tomlie character from BlueMoon has said his source within the club have said they’re not worried and we shouldn’t be either. Also said Khaldoon is prepared to take the Premier League down with him if it comes to it.

When I first heard this I was honestly dejected and thought it was the final nail in the coffin for me. But actually, the longer the day has gone on the more and more it’s fired me up and actually pushed me closer to City.

I’m tempted to take our little girl to City on Sunday even if we can’t get a ticket. I want her to see what I can only assume will be a coming together of Blues in support.

This could be a turning point in our season and, if the players feel the same and band together, we could see a super fired up City. If I was Foden I’d be dragging the players together tomorrow and telling them what this means to the fans.

Could see that happening. We're too big for the PL to relegate or throw out of the league: there's simply too much revenue flowing in on the basis of Manchester City FC playing in the league. If we were thrown out, then I'm pretty sure the European Super League would rear its head again, which would also be massively damaging to the PL.

At the end of the day, I'm not worried about the charges. The PL needs us now, and its bigwigs know it. We'll get a 100k fine for something or other (if that), before they turn their attention to the far-less-lucrative Newcastle before they get a chance to become as big as us.

The annoying thing is the shit we will get from the media and rival fans. If we get the all clear the narrative will be we got away with it. So if we can’t win, wonder if that is what it’s all about.
