France ??
Henderson, Sancho, Rashford, Pickford, Shaw, Maguire, Trent, Kane, Dier - take some beating.
Who could argue with that?

Fucking brilliant goal by Korea, Son breaking at such pace after 90 mins to assist the goal, great passage of play

Great stuff. Uruguay are worse than the Dippers and that’s saying something. Can’t stand the cheating fuckers.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

It’s great when there is jeopardy in the games, makes it a cup tie thing

I know it’s against the narrative but I have enjoyed some of the final group games

Dodgy decision in favor of Japan yesterday.
Dodgy decision in favor of South Korea tonight (Cavani non penalty).
Dodgy decisions get penalties for Ronaldo and Messi
All decisions politically and commercially driven. Push Asian football and a new audience. Promote fading superstars.
No joy in seeing teams cheated and going home.
The real joy is in seeing teams you hate being beaten on a level playing field and teams you like winning on a level playing field.
The use of VAR has destroyed the game because decisions to influence games are more easily made.
PL is fucked as well, just watch Liverpool and MU matches to see.

Surprised at some of the results and its made for some exciting and tense finishes to games which hss helped me enjoy it. Prior to the Japan incident i would have said the ball was out but having had the rule explained numerous times, from what i saw id say there was a gnat's cock of the ball still on the line. Some of the penalty decisions have been poor, both for and against and that is the disappointment for me, just so much inconsistency. Id rather do away with VAR not suffer the delays and just debate it later, i dont think the game has been improved at all.. just hoping USA beat the dutch. My dislike for Van Dyck outweighs everything, sorry Ake.

Usually like the dutch but Van Dyck makes me want USA , but they're a bit naive at the back making it easy for Dutch. Van Dyck walks more than Messi

I think Van Dipper would be more use to them than Ake would be to us with an early return home.

Thought Ake had a good game, dealt with everything in a composed manner, good player this lad

Darwin Nunez has scored the same amount of goals as Haaland at the World Cup.
