I am a huge fan of the main Royal Family. It is an incalculable loss for us as a nation.

She had more about her and awareness and compassion than any politician. A truly great Stateswoman

A terrible day for us all. RIP Your Majesty

Rip. A huge part of history. She helped our royal family survive during the communist era.

Massive part of all our lives. My grandma in Oldham looked just like her and was the same age - but died in 1978.

RIP

Can't help wondering if when all stadia are silent, the ignorant victims in Dipperland will be booing. Wouldn't be surprised

I am very sad at this news but what a grand long life she had - after the mourning her life should be celebrated.

I was part of the guard of honor for the queen mother way back when I was just 19 years old and I remember it like it was yesterday .
I will certainly raise a glass tonight .
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"
