Last season towards the end we were running on fumes. A couple of more injuries and in all probability the league was lost.

I hope we don't get caught this time around.

I don't understand it either.
On numbers we are down one player from last season (two if include Torres). A defender. In arguably our weakest position.
Our bench last season was threadbare (no experience) for some important matches in the CL & PL.
We ran out of defenders for the CL semis and the PL run-in.

This season will be more demanding domestically and internationally because of the WC.
On transfers we have pocketed about £100M.

It does not make any sense.
I am not into conspiracies but I am 100% certain there has to be a good reason for this. There is something else going on.
