That is very good news, with Cancelo suspended it would have left us with few options v Real

No one in our team can replace him .
In top matches opposing players earmark the opposite side to Walker more than with him due to his speed in getting back .
Fucking huge loss if he’s out for the next few weeks .
Reliable lad

Pep says he’ll see if Walker can play tomorrow and that he’s getting better. Sounds a nasty sprain rather than any ligament damage. I’m sure he’d really like him for Tuesday against Real.

A fit Walker is a massive plus for us.
He is some athlete to avoid serious injury when he caught his studs.
Reckon we see him against RM with no chances being taken against Watford.
So important to have a fit Walker for the run-in.

Just been reading an article about today’s game, Pep saying Walker out for today, but maybe next game he is ok, then he starts moaning about player fatigue and how thin the squad is ( his fucking fault) and they are so tired they can hardly train. Fuck me he is hardly Mr Motivator is he, spoiled my bacon butty he did

For the first leg of the CL then someone will have to do a job at RB. Egan-Riley has travelled with the squad a few times and is supposed to be a mirror image of Walker. Get him in!
Vinicius needs specific attention Mase throwing A lad in is not going to happen IMO.
Fernandinho could give him 'special attention' (not at RB though).

Pep Guardiola on ManCity's right-back options: "Joao [Cancelo] is not out, he's doing good. Kyle [Walker], we'll see how he wakes up and we'll see..."
sounds hopeful - our best option is both, Cancelo on the left is a big upgrade on Zinch & Walker gives us speed against Vinicius
