Great game with all players playing great and Given not having anything to do! Bellers until the last 5-10 mins was very quite and the linesman should have admitted he made a cock up and flagged for Bellers offside not Micah.

We have to kill this game off early in the second half and not have a repeat of Wolves.

I THINK WE ARE IN FOR ANOTHER SEASON OF SHITE FUCKING REFFIN.

Yep absolutley and Howard Webb imo is the best referee around at the moment, yet has allowed Brown to go unpunished despite numerous fouls and imo it's probably because he know's he'll have to send him off at the rate of fouls he's committing.

He didnt even play it - Micah got the goal - Barry wasnt interfering with play but the linesman thought he had scored

He was definitely participating to play. Bellamy tried to cross the ball to him but Micah got there before him.

I repeat, right decision.

you need to brush up on your grasp of the current interpretation of offside fella

I think I know current interpretation of offside rule quite well. That pass was aimed at Barry who was offside.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Yeah he's trying not to pull out the cards today but Portsmouth are really fucking pushing it.

Nope, it was aimed into the six yard box, not at any one player

Brilliant backing from the blues. Considering the distance, the kick off time, the lack of public transport and that's it's on TV I wasn't expecting to see so many in the away end!

How is that fuclin yard-dog still on the pitch? - I´m convinced Hart and Brown hatched this move for this very game - he´s a fuclin disgrace and Webb hasn´t got the balls or the inclination to do whats right - he will fucl us if he gets the chance make no mistake!

i dont think that the ref will let brown have many more chances after half time, they should push the game more also which will give Ade more room and let us get in behind them.

Can't believe the 2nd goal was ruled offside... what a shit linesman unbelievable. Barry clearly was NOT obstructing/ interfering.

Agree I think it's because its still early in the game unless he did a real harsh tackle sending him off could be seen as harsh but second half I think the cards gonna come out.

Definitely, Toure are Lescott are both excellent defenders.

I thought we played well once we settled down and respected our possession. For a while there you'd have thought we were the home team. Should put this out of reach in the second half.

Difficult to call, no richards means Barry would get the ball in an offside position. Split second decision not for us.

Jeezes. It's not line mans duty to speculate who it was aimed at, it was going straight at Barry who was offside.

You boys need to learn the offside rule. I'm just as pissed off it didn't count but it was right call by ref. Simple as that.

Hmm, turns out I've put £440 on city. I thought it was £240!

The off side call was wrong technically but you can understand why it was given. I don't have a major problem with the linesman flagging in that scenario.
