The way he defended Foden and ended up with a yellow was a proud moment..........and he played out of his skin.

He was immense last night.

He deserves enormous credit. Talent-wise he's probably one of the weakest in the squad, but he's worked his socks to earn and maintain his place with us. He could have left us in the past but chose to stay and fight for his place.

Knowing Pep, I'm sure he will rotate the players in the remaining league games, but with Cancelo's recent shaky form Zinchenko has given himself a great chance of starting the CL final. It would be difficult for Pep to change the back 4 after what they did last night.

My favourite type of player really. Was always probably below average talent in every way. Not really fast or technically gifted or amazing at reading the game. But you can see that he has made himself the footballer he is through sheer hard work. Probably fantastic player in the training ground. I'm sure he puts all these supreme talented world stars through their paces. You can't put a price on that. Will do whatever his manager asks him to do with no ego whatsoever.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Agree wholeheartedly. Invaluable in any squad

I have been one of his biggest critics when he's been poor. But it just shows what can be acheived with pure hard work, dedication and attitude

Very good game

Never will be a world beater but determination, grit and hard work clearly pays off. Be gutted for the kid if Pep goes with Cancelo in the final.

I said it a few time, but Stones and Ruby rushing to him and hugging him during the game, when PSG could had a fast corner, is something that will stay with me forever.

Briliant moment.

He's getting better and better. He was great when he came on for Cancelo last week and brilliant again last night.
Defensively really strong, put his body on the line and his pass to Kev for the 1st goal was superb.

I think Wolves offered us something like £18 million for him, which at the time I thought was a very generous offer. I've got no idea how much he's worth in financial terms now, but there's no way we could guarantee replacing what he offers in terms of dedication and versatility for even 3 times that much.

What was lovely to see last night was him shouting fuck off to everyone while they were debating the possible handball.
The assistant ref, the PSG players, everyone.

Almost Manciniesque.

While Cancelo has been superb, albeit at RB. Zinch is now No1 LB first choice.
No debate needed.
Would be shocked if he didnt start the final.
