Are you not "pro-stability" if this goes on much longer then?
Yes John. I was under Hughes and I still am under Mancini. I am not calling for his head but I do wish he would not play these tactics with these players. I think we have a squad with so much more to offer. Hopefully, if Mancini stays, he will develop our tactics next season into a more positive style.
On the stability issue; If the rumours are correct and Mancini's job is only 'til the end of the season, depending on results, I can understand why this is happening. It seems almost pointless to look for stability now when this could be a temporary phase we're going through.
Next season is a different ball game and a new man or Mancini should be here for the long haul.
Yes, gotta agree with you on all that. I am sure that he knows he will have to adapt quickly to the attacking nature of this league to be able to extend his tenure, my concern is that with no experience in the league, he just doesn't seem to get it.
I think this league is unique in the world, ridiculously attacking. I just hope he learned something from the last United game, in that its ok being defensive minded, but you will come a cropper when quality teams throw the kitchen sink at you for 95 minutes - something's got to give, as he found out to his cost.
I hope he gets it right, but its worrying when looking around last night, even after we were winning, to hear the frustration being vented, I do think as some others have said, it could turn into almost open hostility if it all goes wrong vs Liverpool / Spuds despite all the warning shots he has had fired across his bows.
Interesting times thats for sure.......2 weeks from now, and it will be so different (one way or another)
