So it finally got over the line. If as Lee were led to believe that he was Maresca’s main target all along, it makes me wonder why we didn’t get him three weeks ago. It would have meant he could have had a pre season of sorts with us and the fee would have been a bit cheaper

The jury is out for me on this one but there are far more qualified people at the club than me who make these decisions. Let’s see how he and indeed all the signings do over the next few years
