Chelsea can suck a big dick as well with their statement they’ve released.

As if they are a club that breeds loyalty. Moaning about how they don’t like to change managers mid season then sacking Maresca’s replacement barely two months later

Fucking chavy rent boys

Agree with the sentiment but their fans would want to see / hear something as it looks like he's walked out on them because he wanted to come here.
Anyways, he's here now so let's see what he can do

They fired him as he was talking to City, was my impression

Potato, tomato. My take is that Chelsea have to be seen to say something. From what I've read he's paid his own way? I couldn't give two fucks either way. Seems we wanted him and now he's here.

Hate that he's apologised to Chelsea.
He comes across as a bit of a prick.
He's constantly mentioning in the videos he's left us twice. Why keep mentioning it.

Not sure about this one, but we'll see

100% well said Notts. Chelsea's statement is so ridiculous, it's fucking laughable coming from that club above all others.

Think there was a mis-print. The statement was supposed to say they don't like changing managers MORE THAN TWO OR THREE TIMES mid season...... :D

Just had a look and they've sacked 5 managers mid season in a little over 10 years. The lucky escapees were:
Mourinho -Dec 2015
Lampard - Jan 2021
Tuchel - Sep 2022
Potter - Apr 2023
Maresca - Jan 2026.

Don't like changing managers mid season my arse!

Todd Boehly bought the club in March 2022. He sacked 2 managers in his first year.

Think the list I was checking was only permanent managers. They also had Bruno Saltor as a caretaker, if you mean him?

I gave Maresca the benefit of the doubt until his pathetic apology to Chelsea. You only apologize that way when you are fucking guilty. Either way, it stinks.

He isn’t Pep
No one is

Will be be as successful with 20 trophies in a decade? I doubt it because what we’ve done over the last decade was awesome

Will we still be dining at the top table and still win trophies, albeit not as often? Absolutely

Will we get the enjoyment of watching City back as it had got a little stale of late, though there are outside influences which contributed to that as well? I really hope so. I think the possession based football we were so successful with needs to be tweaked to still work. I guess time will tell on this

Enzo, rightly or wrongly, is now our boy. Let’s see what he brings. I wish him all the best and good luck

We dont have to like him, he's not your father, brother, husband or best mate. He's here to do a job.
Its irrelevant.
Before Pep we had macini and pelligrini who both delivered trophies, it could be argued that Enzo is as good a manager as those two were.
Therefore its not unreasonable to expect a certain level of success going forward, and we need to get behind him.

I just cannot understand why we couldn't find a manager with hair. That blinding glare bouncing off bald heads in interviews is fucking annoying.
