This is not about us ,the whole season from all teams in my opinion has been poor , Gooners have done it now and its about time they did to be fair ; but they did it in and this is not sour grapes I am just seeing at is is we give them a good run towards the end but we wernt good enough , and thats were the problem is with this so called best league in world football City have two seasons where it goes to rat shit and who steps up , has anyone noticed how no one in the football media mentions how bad the previous champions defended their title . To me its been a very average season. The premier league is not as good as it has been in

I 100% agree.

This season quality wise in the Premier League has been shocking.

I just said in another post, the fact we have won 2 Trophies. Plus dropped 17+ points from winning positions in a Title challenge and are still in with a shout of winning it is crazy. We have not been good this Season. Why i class it as a season of over achievement. If we win the League it will be right at the top with the Aguero moment for me.

Any other Season we would struggle to get Top 4,never mind win 2 Trophies also.

All the top teams teams have been shit.

They have under achieved, where we have over achieved in my opinion. Liverpool have spent a small fortune, Chelsea Gazillions. Spurs are going to stay up by the skin of their Teeth. United have got Top 4 they are in transition to Carrick style.

Then you have Arsenal who should be the best side by a mile after establishing a younger side for over 5 years who look like stumbling over the line to a Title more to do with Our defensive ineptitude and VAR cheating than being great.

We have had to watch the aged Bernado blowing out of his arse most the Season. No Rodri for nearly 2 years. Nico nowhere near good enogh. Foden way out of form. Kovacic another sick note. We have barely been able to field any creative midfielders. Yet we have won 2 Trophies and pushed Arsenal to the last games of the Season.

This reason alone we should feel optimistic for next year after getting rid of the older players and buying a couple of Tier 1 midfielders,

We have done well considering. Mainly thanks to how shit the League has been this season.

I agree, the whole thing is way over hyped. All down to the shillings I suppose. I watched Arsenal the last few games and they are dreadful, corners, set peices and cheating is all they have, take that away and they are probably 5th. If there is any shred of justice in this world PSG will tear them a new one and show them up for what they are, overhyped average to half decent team.

If we look at ourselves while we havent been brilliant by any strech its been a very good season, winning two cups and an outside chance of winning the PL for a team in transition its not bad, we have a lot of players who were never in a title race, this season will stand to them. Arsenal are 6 ot 7 years building their team.

Now we have a new manager. Pep is leaving a good young squad behind him, thats a lot more that can be said for Ferguson.

100% this, especially the bit about the anti football dished out by Arsenal.

Arsenal made Premier League history in the 2025/26 campaign by becoming the first team ever to complete an entire season without receiving a single red card or conceding a single penalty.

About says it all really, cheating in plain sight.
Left hammer+sickle-moon for a much better shade of blue :)

Season not finished yet. Id put money on them conceding a pen and getting a red card on Sunday so the premier league can bury that stat
