It’s now back in our hands. And. Burnley are a very poor side. Be absolutely stunned if we don’t get the three points tonight. Surely tonight’s game is more important than Saturday’s as well? So we’d hope team selection reflects this. Preferably unchanged again for my money

And a few goals to improve the GD would be a bonus, but ultimately the win is the crucial thing here. That said I think Burnley may need all their fingers to count the goals

6-0 Haaland (4) Cherki Foden

I hope it's not going to be one of those games where we are waiting for what seems ages to break a team down, we need a message to be sent and a gap to form on the GD front so the arse are under no impression they can catchup.

Every goal we score puts more pressure on them to attack more in their games leaving them vulnerable.

That being said 4-1 to City and another 3 points in the bag.

I think we could see some changes, and maybe not as easy as some seem to think.
If savio, foden or marmoush come in the quality level drops.
Let's see the team first.

I think blood is in the water now. City have been here and know how to get the job done, we've seen it many times before. Just gotta have faith at this point.

I did say when we were off the pace earlies in the season if we're in touching distance at the end of February we'd win the title. I am still not convinced I'm right, but certainly we are in it now.

The next must win game. No Rodders so straight swap with Nico G and that's the only change required.. No let up we know what's required start strong and keep going.

Massive game for us and Burnley. They will be battlingvas hard as they can to get something. They are not yet relegated. I expect us to win and we should win comfortably but i have a little voice in my ear that keeps whispering 'draw'. It might because i'm an old pessimistic blue that needs to see at least 3 on the scoreboard before i'm comfortable
C'mon blues

Just need to start with the strongest team then if we get a commanding lead perhaps then make the subs, not the other way round which Pep has a habit of doing. Leave Foden and Savinho on the bench and bring them on when we are 3-0 up with five minutes to go

Hopefully not too many changes to the starting 11. Nico G is an obvious change for Rodri but he's had very little game time of late. Every game going forward will be the biggest game of the season. Goal difference is going to be a big factor in regards to putting even more pressure on arse as alluded to in an earlier post. Hopefully we score a few tonight. Come on City!

As usual I'm not optimistic.

Burnley will fight hard and I think its a hangover game after Sundays disproportionate, premature nut understandable elation.

2:1 Burnley.

Prove me wrong lads.

Nico G obvious one. But Pep talks about 'changes'.

Wish someone would explain htf Foden keeps getting on the pitch, with so strong a bench. Ludicrous

Same could be said about that useless cunt Sav.

Today is all about goals (as arrogant as that sounds) as eithe rus or Arsenal will batter these lot by 4 or 5 goals.....hopefully it will be us.

Your City side to take on Burnley!

XI | Donnarumma, Nunes, Khusanov, Guéhi, Ait-Nouri, Bernardo (C), O’Reilly, Semenyo, Cherki, Doku, Haaland

SUBS | Trafford, Reijnders, Stones, Ake, Marmoush, Kovacic, Nico, Savinho, Foden

Less changes than I expected

Though he might just slot NicoG in, but he obviously has amazing faith in NOR. Fair play, he has had a barnstorming season so far

Different player though. The standard thing would be Nico G. On the other hand, finally showed some faith in Ait Nouri

We'll see

I like that team! Only 1 change, and Nico O'R gets a chance to show his skills in midfield.
Not too much on the bench, though, if reinforcements are needed!

Glad that the only one change has been made - pep obviously doesn't have fill confidence in Gonzales, wouldn't be surprised to see him go in the summer

Please get a couple of early goals and make this simple - Come on City!!!

Surprised somewhat and very pleasantly so with this XI

Now go on and get the game won
