So we are up first this weekend, with the NLD tomorrow. Perfect opportunity for us to ramp up the pressure a notch or two.

What would be lovely is a controlled and comfortable 3-0 where we dominate. Sending Arteta’s boys a message that we are fully focused on getting our trophy back and nothing will stop us.

We’ve a remarkable record against Newcastle especially at home. Every time we play them at our house I expect the law of averages to finally bite back, yet we still keep winning. Newcastle are bound to be fatigued after their midweek game in Asia and the travelling that followed.

Khus and Guehi at the back please. And no Foden or Sav. Hopefully Viking is fit enough. I’d also start Marmoush and Semenyo

3-0 Haaland Semenyo Cherki

There is blood in the water, if City remember who they are I can see this being the start of our typical run in.

Artita and his merry men will be watching this one closely today. It's imperative we put in a big performance and 3pts for us will put the cat amongst the pigeons. We're still a bit fragile ourselves but this is the start of the run in in my mind after stupidly writing off our chances of winning the league 4 weeks ago. Lots of twists and turns to come but the adrenaline rush is back. Come on City!

This for me too. Win the next game and move on. No over thinking, keep the team in tact and crack on.

Plenty of twists and turns left in the season. Tonight's game will be a good indicator of how much our players and manager are up for it. Not an easy game, no game is a foregone conclusion but if we get a win, it'll turn up the heat on Arsenal just a little bit more

Hope we actually play for 90 minutes, make no mistakes no playing sidewards and back all the time, defending is a must with no playing around near our area, just play like we want to be champions

He just can’t help picking Dias can he?

Otherwise arguably our strongest XI

Stones and Guehi are solid combo for England, probably should start along Guehi now he's fit.

Shouldn't Nico start along Roderi in midfield?
