It’s been an up and down season and tensions run high so looking for some nice stories about being a city fan recently. Obviously we’ve won a shit load so have little to moan about, but more personal highlights or stories about loving the club.

I had one during yesterday’s game. I had a flight to catch so left with 10 mins to go down 1-0. My 9 year old daughter was up watching and called me when we equalized and stayed on the phone as I drove to the airport describing the action. The pen, the added time, the madness of the 3rd goal being chalked off.

It was such a special bonding moment with my kid and just happened to come on a win that felt so significant. My girl falling in love with city as much as I am to the point she’s up at 3am cheering and excitedly calling the action is something I’ll cherish forever.

So who else has a good story to bring some peace and love to the forum?

Love that........as much as my 9 year old likes the highlights, he's just not got the attention span to really get into watching a game or get passionate about football yet.

Though regarding the same incident, last night I played the benny hill music while showing him the highlights of Haaland and the scouser falling over each other, which he thought was hilarious. Cue having to find benny hill on youtube and watch the cunt for half an hour.

There are some bonuses to watching Benny

Positivity!! Hold on now can't be having that.

The biggest positive thing is we're whap bam in the middle of rebuilding the team and still in 4 competitions. With a young team in transition.

I believe only 3 players from Sunday's team started in Anfield last season.

Some others can rebuild and get a free pass but not us, oh no.

Been taking my 7 year old grandson to most of the home games this season (he can't do evening games on a school night) on one of those flexi-season tickets. He's mad keen to get to as many games as possible. Sent a message checking if it's half term as his purchase window has opened for the Forest game on an evening. His mum replied with this:

"Well I’m not sure he should be going as I’ve just had a text off my mum saying Felix asked her what a tosser is as grandad calls the referee a tosser sometimes at the City games"

Busted!! (But tosser is a very mild version of what I could have said...

"He has been told, numerous times, what he hears at the footie stays at the footie... another lesson needed, methinks!"
Warned him at the first game against Spuds that he couldn't repeat anything he heard inside the ground once we left it. If he did I'd have to stop taking him. He obviously wasn't listening as he was sulking at the score.
He cracked me up the other week after Leeds scored to make it 2-2, when he said "Grandad, I wish I was old enough to swear".

I got told by my kid the other day “shhhh what we say when the games on stays between us”. They learn so quick.

Cracked up at asking what a tosser was too
