***Spurs v City Official Match Thread***

Tough fixture for us historically though we have won the last two there without conceding. Will take a scruffy 1-0 today. Spurs have had a shocking home record since the start of 2025 and the law of averages suggest sooner or later they will win. We both had victories in the CL midweek and have both qualified for the knockout stages. So confidence will be good in both camps

Assume Guehi and Semenyo will both return. Can see a close game but as of recently I’m not confident at all

Spurs 2-0

We always lose here.

But on the basis we are doing the unexpected - winning when expected to lose and vice versa - I'm going for an optimistic 2 nil to us

3-1 if Pep doesn't decide to sabotage his own plans by playing Lewis or Foden, get a team out there that is going to work and the rest will take care of itself.

If we lose this afternoon, might I politely suggest you ( the lefties) fuck off for a few days... or months... or years? as there will, more than likely, be a metaphorical bloodbath on this board, and your delicate sensibilities might not cope with the venom being spewed.

Thank you for your attention in this matter

Wouldn't be surprised if we win 4-0 or got beat 4-0 or if Haaland scores 4 or only touches the ball 4 times. A massive problem at the minute is we are soft as shite and have no one to dig deep and bark a few orders. Doesn't help getting yellow cards and sent off for the slightest bit of physicality by inept officials. 2--1 City.

Id be shocked and stunned if we scored more than 1 goal...............as you say , its the defense that is our main problem.

With this current squad but under Mancini or Pellers we win this 5-3 and all go away happily entertained and suffering from high blood pressure.

Problem is, if they chop one of ours down it's usually in a position of zero jeopardy. Whereas if one of ours loses the ball up near the oppo box, usually Foden or Savinho when fit, the player has 100 yards of open space to run into and when we chop him down it looks, and probably is, pretty bad, as there's a good risk they'll score!

We're playing this very high line we're no longer equipped for, especially without Walker

Amen.
This team is also crying out for a number 6 who can tackle and a Zabeletta.

Agree you could park 3 buses between our lines when we lose possession. A 3 legged donkey could score against us on a counter attack.
