Early KO for this one. I suppose I should be looking forward to it but to be honest I am not fussed either way. Know very little about them except they play on Astro and it’s fucking cold. And how good can they be really?
Enough has been said and written about the monumental fuck up that was Saturday so we move on. And the players themselves will be desperate to put in a good performance.
2-0 Semenyo and Rodri

Don't think Semenyo can play in this .

Semenyo can't be registered until the knock outs, Rodri surely won't play. Bernardo is suspended, Nunes not travelled. Be an interesting selection

You better believe that the players that are in need of a rest will 100% play. Rodri, Bernardo, Haaland - Pep can then use his "small squad" and "they're tired" excuses

Okay so I'm old school, but this "tired thing" really pisses me off. To fucking tired for what? To tired to train? To tired play golf? We are talking about elite fucking athletes not old men with walking sticks. I have said it for years keep telling players they are tired & they will be. It's called a self fulfilling prophecy. We used to play 42 league games, had replays in the Cup until one team got a result. Someone should ask Pep what number of games is optimum for the pampered pooches , fucking ridiculous.

Very interested to know what team you would select Mase, considering the issues we have with the squad currently.

Against a team that is 32nd in the CL and hasn't won a single game yet, I'd be resting the likes of Haaland, Bernardo, Rodri, Foden.
Marmoush > Haaland
Cherki > Foden
Nico G > Rodri
Reijnders > Bernardo
If those players coming in can't perform against fuckin Bodo Baggins then we've got problems.

Nico G hasn't travelled. As i said before Bernardo is suspended.
We've taken 21 players that include Trafford, Bettinelli, Charlie Gray, Mukasa, Kian Noble, Mfuni, Samba

My point exactly so what will be our 11. It's going to be a young line up for sure

I reckon it's Donna, Rico, Khus, Max, Ait Nouri, O'Reilly, Reijnders, Foden, Cherki, Haaland, Doku.
Marmoush to come on for at least half an hour.
But what do I know.

Interestingly, Foden (25) is one of the old ones in that line up
Donna (26)
Reijnders (27)
Ake (30)

I’d go with
Trafford
Lewis Alleyne Khus Ait-Nouri
Reijnders O’Reilly Foden Mukasa
Marmoush Doku
Donna Rodri Cherki and Haaland too important to risk injury in this. If they are 31st in the CL table that suggests we should be beating them relatively comfortably. Otherwise we may as well fuck it off now

So we're all on agreement then - we can rest players that need it, and still beat Bodo
