You'd think so but with turkey-teeth's last hurrah and Emery getting Villa into chumps league, it wasn't a given. Well deserved. Congrats baldie, no fuck- ups against the red shit and it won't have been too shabby a season

And the League Managers Association (LMA) have given their manager of the year award to Keiran McKenna of Ipswich.
Odd choice seeing how he didn't even win his division

In fairness Mckenna’s done a phenomenal job with back to back promotions for Ipswich.

And also in fairness Peps just secured a historic 4th PL on the spin on the back of a Treble last year
McKenna has done well, no question there and undoubtedly will go onto better things. But to suggest his achievements outweigh Peps is a stretch too far for me

I assumed League Managers Association was for Football League teams, not therefore including Premier League teams. May have got it wrong.

I see it does include PL Managers. May have been a reluctance from non PL Managers to give the award to the PL.Obviously a lot more of them. I agree that Pep deserved the award.
