Thinking again Bernardo’s bound to play. Could be a case of Grealish not starting to fit in Kovacic.

Not optimistic.
We are good enough to batter them, but I fear that the loss kf 2 points against Liverpool, the injuries ro Stones and Walker, the Los f momentum from the international break will all conspire to us dropping points while Liverpool ease past Brighton.
Being behind Liverpool is fine but at this stage of the season, all we need is some dodgy reffing in favour of Klopps glorious departure and that's us done.
I don't mind other clubs winning the PL from time to time, but the dippers will make themselves loud and insufferable.

Stones and Walker both out for Sunday says Pep. No surprise. Walker is likely to be out for longer than Stones but he didn’t speculate on return dates for either.

What was Pep’s attitude like. Raging or not arsed?

He was asked about Southgate playing Stones twice in four days but he wouldn’t comment. Doubt he’s pleased but I think he wants to focus on who will be playing rather than he won’t. Full concentration on Sunday.

Arteta says there is a chance Saka Gabriel and Martinelli will be available. They didn’t train today but there’s another session tomorrow. I’m not holding my breath.

They’ll play. We just need to dig them early on. Especially Saka. We’d have the same done to us.

Whoever lines up in defence needs to be switched on. This is one game where we can't afford one shot one goal to happen. We need to score first in this one.

Not sure what it is, possibly that one of my first games at Maine Road Liam and Noel came out at half time when they were battling Blur for #1, but when I’m in a “not really arsed about the result this weekend” mood I’ll whack on Oasis and I’m right back to Maine Road and ready to cheer the blues on to victory.

Let’s smash these twats tomorrow!!!!

CITY! TEARING COCKNEYS APART AGAIN!

Typical that we have several injuries of key players leading up to this game. However on the bright side, Walker and Akanji have not been my favourite players this season and both can suffer brain farts and give away chances and goals. Stones may have been a miss but to be honest he rarely puts a lengthy run of games together so we are used to doing without him. Grealish ? we'll miss him because he gives us an option but he is inconsistent. Hopefully De Bruyne can play and produce a decent display otherwise Haaland, Silva, Foden, Alvarez, Ake, Dias, Lewis , Bobb Kovetic and Gvardiol will need to produce a decent shift and we should give them a good game. Expect it to be a feisty game with Arteta winding his squad up beforehand. A six pointer all day long. VAR and contraversial decision decisions guaranteed. Love being the underdog, just like it used to be
