I thought we were superb but the nature of our play allows them that odd chance that comes off once in 20 attempts.

We battered them all game which led to the final scoreline. No way could they play like that and expect to hold out, they didn’t get out of their final third for the majority of the game. It was a real shit house performance from them, akin to a bottom 3 team rather than a billion pound team.

Looking forward, we play like that and anything can happen against a Liverpool team who actually play to utilise a high line and getting the ball into the space as soon as possible. We need to ensure we cover the rear while challenging their makeshift team.
