Only watched the second half due to work commitments, but thoroughly enjoyed it.
Funniest moment was when Haaland was subbed off and burst into a smile when he heard the chants from the Brentford fans: Shit Ivan Toney, you're just a shit Ivan Toney.

FULL-TIME
Brentford 1-3 Manchester City
Phil Foden's hat-trick gets the job done for Manchester City after they had fallen behind against the run of play through Neal Maupay's goal.

City jump over Arsenal on goal difference and they, like the Gunners, are two points behind leaders Liverpool.

Pep Guardiola's side also with a game in hand on Liverpool.

The reigning champions are moving well.

Obviously not a fan of football … or, a red fan.

Are you highlighting the fact that the Beeb have gone from telling us things we didn't know, to telling us things we could have told them ?

Is it worth turning to Sky to watch the Scouse twats salty tears? Questions, questions.

Listening to little Mickey Owen and he’s just a waste of oxygen. Cliche brings far more to the party.

I know he's been injured, know he's been out for two months, know its his first start but Erling was very poor tonight. He was poor before he got injured.
Still a decent run in rhe team and hopefully he will be back to his best.

And, can I just say that Tyler is an entirely different beast away from Sky. Foden, and City in general, we’re sung from the rafters.

He’ll get there, players like that don’t lose it. Just ready for his forced transfer to Real ;-)

Pep really is trying to turn Phil from the Stockport Iniesta into the Cheshire Messi.

Love it.

Nice set of games coming up, let’s put the pressure on.

Don't normally watch sky bollocks but analysis with Antonio at West ham is really interesting

Always like when they have current players on (rags aside and sturridge, and ignoring the terrible dress sense )

I've thought for a while we play better without him

He's currently a nice distraction that keeps the opposition pinned back allowing julian kev bernie and phil to exploit the confusion. It's not a bad problem to have - remains to be seen whether we suffer in the tougher games
