He was key to bringing Haaland over here. That will be spun around in rags media.

My mam could have got that deal over the line.

Poor rags, they'll never learn. Tiny club mentality

He definitely wasn’t  The key was his dad and Pep. But let the Rags have their fun.

Said the same thing to a mate yesterday. If this guy was Commerical Director during the period the charges are from - the Rags must know we wont be found guilty otherwise he’s out of a job straight away

Plus if he's joined the scum, he would (A) been on a considerable garden leave (B) surely have signed an NDA upon joining us?

NDAs are meaningless mate. Almost as pointless as the buy back clause we put in transfer deals. From working in HR (UK specific before Brexit) I was always told that NDA’s infringe on a humans right to work, so companies would rarely push them. A good example would be article 23 of the UN -

Everyone has the right to work, to free choice of employment, to just and favourable conditions of work and to protection against unemployment.

Id argue that an NDA stops ‘free choice of employment’

He’s not starting till the Summer apparently. I wonder whether he will provide a witness statement to the Premier League Commission. He was Johnny on the spot during the relevant period.

I do not find this appointment that surprising, Ratcliffe made all his money in the Oil/gas recovery industry, he is going to have associates in OPEC and Abu Dhabi. I suspect this is a tap on the shoulder from Ratcliffe and “ come and join my revolution at United make a big name of yourself “ Anyway just my thoughts on it.

I don't understand why you would want to leave us to go there? They must be paying daft money . Interesting decision

looking at the ages of Ferran & Txiki he'd be waiting nearly a decade for promotion to CEO at City if they stayed - which it looks like they will.

He was involved directly with commercial deals - so if he wants to see himself do time I’d say the baldy twat should spill all. That’s if we’re assuming we’re guilty.

So because he is now at the helm at the rags his career has been exemplary. Great news for us as he was one of the main men around for the period where these charges against us have been levied.

Wonder how long it will take for the penny to drop for the likes of ratboy and Jordan and all the rest?

Didn’t realise Marwood was still with us in a high position. I’d be more worried about losing him then this boiled egg no one’s heard of

He will be a loss, I know nothing about him, but if he is one of the best in class team we have built on he must be as Khaldoon has referenced many times the ones we see headhunted by all who recognise we are streets ahead. Let’s hope he is a plant who ensures we have an eye on the W-Yankers.

Every single member of staff that’s been headhunted has gone on to do sweet FA in football. You could argue Lee Carsley has been the most successful but he was with us a year.

I very much doubt that he’ll be a loss to us. Unless he’s the best in his field that is obtainable by us, and I doubt he is. Plenty of people that will be eager to join us that could do as good of a job, if not better.

Someone new will come in and do as good of a job. This guy’s achievements are being blown way out of proportion. No one knew him last week!

An employee who has been with us that length of time and who has helped grow our business in the way it has, will be missed. I’m sorry but it’s silly to think otherwise. That’s not to say he can’t be replaced, because everyone can be replaced. And the fact most if not all City fans were unaware of him 2 days ago is irrelevant. We have literally hundreds of employees who the vast majority are anonymous to the general public.

It’s a lot easier to engage the interest of sponsors now we’ve achieved so much on the pitch.

Being missed and being a loss to us are two different things. I miss Otamendi every day.

The only person that will be a loss to Manchester City is Pep.

I’d argue now that even if (God forbid) Mansour sold up, the status we’ve grown to and the money we bring in - we’d be okay.

That daft cunt signed us into TEN years with Puma. Imagine the money we could get now we’ve won the treble - we’re stuck with Puma until 2029
