You know there's a problem when Ratboy keeps calling him the greatest RB of all time. Same deal as with his constant praise for Ferran Torres, keeping a liability in the team is the plan.

He will be 34 this May. The pace has to drop away soon if its not starting to wane already.

The most worrying thing about walker is we dont seem to have a succession plan lined up, I dont think Lewis is the answer as he's more of a utility player. I also hate seeing walker playing high and wide, theres better options than him when playing that style. When playing as the covering defender tucked in theres no one better(last week aside).

Really hoping this lad of ours on loan at Gerona is lined up to replace Walker.

Walker is done at the very top level I think. Age has crept up with him and maybe his troubles at home are impacting his game. It certainly can't be helping.

Would we play Lewis there as a stop gap? Or maybe Akanji? Until we source a long term replacement. I see Lewis more in midfield than as a FB. Maybe a year or so there would benefit him in the longer run?
