Huge result. Walker needs to play deeper otherwise Dias is exposed by quicker players. Three days off with the families then a few days training at Abu Dhabi. Going to the Burnley game. All that time off for Kevin is turning into a big positive. He’s absolutely flying. Hopefully he can start against Spurs in the Cup match.

KDB is as good a player as a footballer can actually be. The man is on Level 10.

I could weep when KDB does shit like that. Foden was unreal, Rodri too. Epic.

Foden is the most talented English player I've ever seen. His touch is pure platinum. What a player.

What a game.

Thankfully we got what we deserved.

KDB there really are no words to describe him. 30 minutes on the Pitch,he grabbed the game by the scruff of the Neck.I think i will cry when he calls it a day, what a player.

We are playing better football than Newcastle but are getting hurt with balls over the top. We can easily turn this round, let’s see if the desire is there

Well, the hunger is still there, no need to worry about that. We kept going and going like a duracell bunny and wore Newcastle down.

A great second half and the celebrations at the end show we mean business

We made hard work of it but what a win!

We might have lots of great players, but KDB is another level.

Liverpool and Arsenal will feel deflated after watching that.

And shout out to Bobb for that finish. So calm and composed. Superb.

Still worries me that we want to play every player in their half. They didn’t have much but from the 2 balls they had over the top, they scored.

But, fuck ‘em. They’re nowhere near being a top 4 side and I’d say, with that performance, more like Stoke than fighting for the title.

My only real problem is Walker ambling about on their second goal

Bobbs goal was just outstanding from the sublime pass to his first touch bringing the ball instantly into his control, then the one-two to tap it past the goalie and into the net in one motion at pace under pressure with the game in the balance. The best goal of the game for me

TBF, that’s 6 on the bounce, including the CWC, and 8 out of 9 with no losses.

I know we’ve played the lesser teams but that attitude is ingrained and will set us up for the season.

FWIW I think we deserved that too. No doubt the fact that we scored late will be used to suggest we were lucky. We weren’t. A lot of character from the boys in that second half.

Full credit to Bobb for staying on his feet. Would have been easy for him to go down under the Trippier challenge. Shows the difference between us and certain other teams, would we even have got the penalty? The young lad sticks it away and takes away any doubt.
