Kevin De Bruyne became the first Manchester City player to both score and assist in a Premier League game as a substitute since Sergio Agüero vs Cardiff in January 2014.

Watched on TNT, did they show Pep’s post-match that they promised?

Kevin says he couldn’t keep that performance up,for 90 minutes at the moment particularly in the cold. Hopefully he’ll be fitter by the Spurs Cup match

That’s answers the question. Pep probably thought ‘Fuck ‘em, they’re part of the problem’.

Not even petrol heads, an electric race that the car can’t even get to the end.

Couldn’t agree more - mirror image tackles ignored for them and given against us.

Indeed, the thick git pulled the play back and the City players moaned, allowed the free kick to be taken about 10 yards ahead of where it
should be and the ball is played forward to Kdb who turns , attacks the defence and shoots , nutmegging the Newcastle defender into the left corner of the
goal. REF so thick he enabled City to score.

Pulling play back when we had a clear advantage, allowing the stamp on rodri which was a clear second yellow for bruno. Yellow card for rodri.
Yellow card for bernardo and then none for identical challenge up the other end.

And thats only off the top of my head.

It always makes me laugh when the commentators give it the whole

"Wow, pep seems to be celebrating much more than usual... its like they won the league..." etc etc

It's because we were being cheated and won anyway.
And pep fucking knows it just as well as the rest of us

A good player no doubt but he cost them £45m and would be at least £65/75m now, if not more as he will have a good few years left on his contract

And we got similar money for Palmer.

Bobb looks very good even at this early stage and coming through is Hamilton who we got a glimpse of in the CL game in Belgrade.

I'd say we are producing as good if not better from the academy

That's my sentiment as well. We're extremely fortunate with our academy. Kids that hardly get s sniff in our first team are probably good enough to be the big man in sub-top teams.

I'm not sure fortunate is the right adjective Nools. A huge amount of hard work has gone into and continues to go into the Academy.

From sourcing players such as Bobb from other countries to developing home grown local talent like Foden, Lewis and Palmer. To educating them, nurturing them and giving them opportunities to make it as footballers. It's surely not coincidence we have the highest number of players in the top 5 leagues of Europe and in the football league pyramid that have come through our ranks

Maybe I should have said "we're in the fortunate position". But of course you're right, it's not down to luck, but to hard work and great knowledge.

Pep said it looks like an impact injury and no word on anything more than that.

Pretty positive in his post match interview

He wouldn’t play till 31/1 at the earliest anyway. I dare say he wouldn’t be missed much against Burnley tbh.

Rodri. I am speechless, what a performance. He is the whole foundation this fucking castle is built on.
A truly great player who we can't do without.

Pep sounds like he is in mischievous form. :

Man City boss Pep Guardiola, speaking to TNT Sports: "No words to describe the performance. We are judged on the performance. A win will be judged. The mentality and what we are able to do. We proved our qualities."

On winning the game: "We lost John Stones and Ederson. It was weird but we took the game in our control, we arrived in small pockets really well. We conceded two goals on the transition, they are similar to Liverpool. Stick to the plan, continue to do it and the magic from Kevin and Oscar came."

On Kevin De Bruyne: "I'm so grumpy and upset with Kevin because his first touch was a free kick and he couldn't score. Phil Foden was outstanding. Everyone was really good."
