10 minutes for young Oscar. That should give Grealish and Doku something to think about. If they have enough grey matter up there.

I’m still smiling.

Just think, all those Rags, Dippers and Arse fans who were jumping up and down, watching until the end to see us drop points

Fucking love the benefits of these type of games.

Would Gordon be good enough for us? Just short of 23 and the stand out player in the Toon team.

Or should we just trust our academy? Bobb, Palmer, McAtee. Just as good at 23?

In a way we were incredibly unlucky that there were 2 brilliant finishes that 9 times of 10 would've missed, by Newcastle

Ignoring the shit defending for their goals, that was one of my favourite city performances for a long time. Even a goal down at half time I felt we'd win this, I don't remember having that feeling for a while. It was a great performance from the start, let's be honest, it's only due to their keeper it even came down to the brilliance of Bernardo, Kevin and Bobb.

Oh Kevin. You don't deserve a statue when you go. Rename the Etihad after him, I don't care. The greatest all round pure footballer I've ever watched. We will tell our grandkids about him the way our grandparents told us about Colin Bell.

Good player but an absolute scrote. Wouldn't touch him with a bargepole.

I find that result extremely satisfying.

Kev has become a legend of the PL whilst out injured and in the 2 cameos in his come back he’s exceeded his new status. You rarely see this, opposition players will start to freeze and panic when he gets the ball.

And incredibly resilient as we’ve lost those games in the past.

When we went 2-1 down I was asking myself if this team, after losing certain players, could come back. They did and what an attitude they showed.

Below average player and a very big scrote.

A good player no doubt but he cost them £45m and would be at least £65/75m now, if not more as he will have a good few years left on his contract

And we got similar money for Palmer.

Bobb looks very good even at this early stage and coming through is Hamilton who we got a glimpse of in the CL game in Belgrade.

I'd say we are producing as good if not better from the academy

That's my sentiment as well. We're extremely fortunate with our academy. Kids that hardly get s sniff in our first team are probably good enough to be the big man in sub-top teams.

That defender that tried deliberately injure Bobb after he put the ball in the net should get a retrospective red card.

I'm not sure fortunate is the right adjective Nools. A huge amount of hard work has gone into and continues to go into the Academy.

From sourcing players such as Bobb from other countries to developing home grown local talent like Foden, Lewis and Palmer. To educating them, nurturing them and giving them opportunities to make it as footballers. It's surely not coincidence we have the highest number of players in the top 5 leagues of Europe and in the football league pyramid that have come through our ranks
