Mase must have gone to the loo ? he's usually the first to congratulate players on their assists :)

Haha despite what OD tries to pedal I don’t hate any City player and want them all to do well. If a player is playing shit we’re allowed to say it  We’re on a City forum after all.

We’re playing Huddersfield though, so hopefully he’ll be able to play well against Prem level teams soon.

I haven't tried to peddle anything mate.

Every day you mention how absolutely shit nunes is and you want him gone.

Sure as shit on here, Carl will mention pep and you'll mention nunes on numerous occasions.

At least you could end up being right on nunes, who knows? Don't think Carl will re pep

I’m never wrong and I’m never always right , but I’m never wrong .

Hard to argue with that in fairness

I’ve never said I want him gone  Just how shit he’s played - as have 99% of the board.

I didn't think he was shit in his last few games?
Not top opposition in fairness.

It does feel (only a teeny weeny bit  ) like you want him to fail.

But that would be weird wouldn't it? :D

Hard performance to judge with the quality of opposition and 10 men behind the ball, but an enjoyable game nonetheless. Keeper played well and Gomez had a solid game even though the free kick late on was a poor effort, the stand out player for me along with Foden. Wigan next round would be nice.

Again, I want him to fail or 99% of the board do? I’ve not said anything most aren’t saying.

Would love for him to succeed, but he’s shown nothing so far to say he’ll be class.

Now Kev is back can we go on a run again please?

Some good football second half, but that first half was a tough watch with them not attempting to play at all.

He’s a wannabe scouser, what do we expect when it comes to City.

Nice to be 4 up though, he sounds like somebody has just done his wife and sent him the pictures.

Was it not Leon Osman on commentary. Stephen Warnock and him are almost identical to listen to. Both Scousers or as good as.
Quite correct, as you say two of a kind ;)

Good game, great to see KDB and Doku back. Thought there introduction introduced more direct play at pace and Nunes and Foden enjoyed linking up with them. Gvardiol looked more comfortable as well. Difficult choices for Pep now. Might well be that Akanji injury keeps him out and Jack gets to take a back seat. Haaland hopefully will come back soon and relish getting back into it.
Grealish surely has to vary his game and go on the outside of a player.

Good to watch highlights on MOTD, great opening remark by the presenter . 'City didn't have it their own way' Huddersfield hardly broke ranks for 90 minutes. Most notable for leaving marks on a few City players

Enjoyed it, mostly. Cheap tickets too, which is always welcome. The away fans were like children, absolutely embarrassing playground chanting. They never stopped about the library, as if they have ever been in one of those; maybe that's where a load of them were going when the 4th went in. It will be great to see them turn up next week to support their woeful team.

I can't agree about Gvardiol, he passed it abysmally, consistently, and looks more and more untidy as each game comes and goes, if you see what I mean. As composed as Stones looks, this lad looks terrified, rushed and out of position. He's a real concern. I thought the introduction of Doku and the imperious KDB was like a cheat code in a video game, they both looked miles above the quality on the pitch, Foden aside, who is MOTM every week at the moment. I read on another forum that they thought KDB looked overweight. He looks thinner to me, really fit and in proper shape. He is rusty, obviously, but his instant forward passing created a threat. I had forgotten what a joy he is to watch, such a fabulous player.

He was. They had highlights on itv because we'd scored 10. Tyler was commentator and Frank Worthington pundit. They showed supermacs interview. Poor bloke was in shock mumbling "we were trying to play offsides and we don't play offsides". Me and my mate made our predictions on the way to the game. I said 6-0 and he said 4-0 so we were almost right. We beat Plymouth 6-2 the Tuesday after in the Simod Cup and Adcock scored another three. Great memories even when we were bad.

I was there too. Huddersfield were all over us until McNab scored. Weird.

Brilliantly, Frank Worthington described the Huddersfield defending as, 'Horrible'. It was.

I think he is goring to be world class. Love the way he moves with the ball. He has panache about him and we need to give him opportunity.

He does look exciting. Sort of in between Doku and Grealish - not as “electric” as Doku but probably more intelligent with keeping the ball.
