Cheers HDS. Taking my City-mad grandson to his first live game v Huddersfield, much to the chagrin of his rag-supporting dad! :D

harsh does not begin to describe this nonsense sending off - Craig Pawson on the VAR buttons - sheer incompetence perhaps?

Finished 0-0, a replay Everton probably didn’t want

Nobody wants a replay of any game. Time to look at the rules.

Loving the fiasco at Sunderland after they foolishly thought it to be a good idea to decorate a corporate bar area up for Newcastle. Whoever the fuck signed that off needs to be shown the door - after having their head banged against it repeatedly first

Saw that. Imagine the Etihad having “come on City” banners in one of the bars with City crossed out and United added. I’d go mad!

Just seen the red card for DCL. Football fans need to make a big deal about this because we’re now one step away from football being no contact. Absolutely no way is that a red or even a yellow. He doesn’t touch the player and gets the ball. There’s absolutely no rule about “studs up” - I don’t know why that gets peddled.
Clyne, like most modern day footballers is wearing shin pads that are 2 inches by 2 inches - so he deserves to get his shin taken off imo. But this one DCL doesn’t even touch him!

The day where players are banned from tackling is coming soon, and that will be when I call it a day.

I agree - there should be a vote by all season members fans (that’s the only way to semi guarantee a true vote by real football fans ) if they want VAR or not -

And it should be a once in a lifetime vote !!

Concerned about lack of Bern and Rodri (but understandable in the circumstances).

Other 2 not even worth mentioning.

That's pretty much all- football has been shite. Bullshit bingo from the commentators:

6000 geordies
recently in chumps league
300th game in December and January - no time to train

Terrible standard of play, commentary equally dire, that sums it up.
